I’ve always wondered how much DMT a thin copper “ChoreBoy” disc can hold, so I did an experiment to estimate: I weighed a dry disc at 434mg, then I saturated it in water, shook it off a bit, and reweighed it at 633mg; a difference of just about 200mg. Assuming that liquid DMT is even somewhat similar to water in terms of surface tension, viscosity and whatever else might affect its “clinginess”, it’s a safe bet that a copper disc will hold any size “normal” dose. gibran2 is a fictional character. Any resemblance to anyone living or dead is purely coincidental.

Can the experiment be done with the real McCoy? One would need exceptional technique ... It would also be interesting if a disk can be preloaded, removed and carefully stored for later. Don't know why one would do that ... but neat none the less. "Blinded by their own sight, hearing, feeling, and knowing, they don't perceive the radiance of the source. If they could eliminate all conceptual thinking, this source would appear, like the sun rising through the empty sky and illuminating the whole universe." - Huang Po

I always pre-load: With a disc on a heat-proof surface, I warm it a bit with a torch lighter (doesn’t take much heat) and then pour a pre-measured dose onto the warm copper. It melts right in. When I’m ready, I use a pair of tweezers to gently lower it into the GVG chamber. I’ve never found the need, but I suppose one could prepare numerous discs with various amounts, and just load them up one after the other as desired. Cant believe I never considered a pre-load outside the GVG. Seems so obvious. Always get a bit of vapor trying to melt but not vaporize in the GVG. Heating the copper first even removes the draft of the torch. Wow, it feels like Christmas morning! I pre-load outside as well its very easy this way. We are each of us angels with only one wing, and we can only fly by embracing one another.

i heat the mesh while its in the vapor genie, just as if i was smoking out of it, then once its warm i remove the top and add the spice, melts in perfectly and im ready to go i'm a compulsive liar, dont take anything i say seriously, its all make believe.

*Close eyes and dumps crystal Ive yet to try to preload on the outside seems efficent *Look for a while at the China Cat Sunflower, proud-walking jingle in the midnight sun, Copper-dome bodhi drip a silver kimono like a crazy-quilt star gown, through a dream night wind*

I thought copper and aluminum were a no no for smoking and steel or brass were ok. Doesn't the heat cause copper oxide to be inhaled into lungs? I swear I remember reading on some mj forums about copper pains. I don't mean to stir worries. What happened to steel wool, as used in the machine?
