Across the plain
my perspective soars
the golden grasses below sway gently in the wind
flowers bow to my presence
as I dip closer to Earth
the sky is painted in a purplish hue
the clouds are outlined in pink
and inside the outlines
the brilliance of angels burst forth

I am warmed by their appearance
as my sun has withered away and died
perhaps it sits just below the horizon
my forgotten purpose
This is what I attempt to find.

A short poem from a dream I had in a post-DMT nap. I am trying to sort through this somber mood. I can't quite place these conflicting emotions. I am surrounded by beauty, but still cannot find true happiness. Life is getting better, but I feel as though I am only fooling myself into thinking it is because I'm so busy I don't have time to think about it. Where do these seeds of depression lie? I don't even know if they exist. Have I fooled a potentially happy man into thinking he is hopeless? I am not hopeless. but... I am tired.
We are...
We are like that sentence.
We are not finished.

Thanks for sharing the poem, I haven't been reading enough poetry lately (or writing for that matter) o how I can certainly relate to this mood. It's just part of the balanced oscillation...at least that's what I tell myself.

You are you, a wheel that twists and turns through every possible facet of itself. It is an exercise and a struggle to be who we are shown we can be.

I love this.

I'm starting to accept each of my moods for what they are instead fighting them to conform to whatever image I have of myself at the time. It definitely makes things a lot easier, and I for sure feel more true to myself. I'm more tuned into the "balanced oscillation" and what it looks like for me. I have this feeling of, "It's time to get healthier mind, body, spirit." I've had it since that LSDMT experience. I'm not sure how it happened, but I tapped into my code and changed a few core mindsets. maybe not changed, but rather brought ones in the back of my mind up to the forefront.

Sorry for the rant... Just kind of went with it.

Thank you for sharing your poem. I'd say your sun will rise back up some day soon. Ebb & Flow.

What a beautiful way to construct this thought with words Smile
