how do you pronounce changa? Options

i've always known it as chAnga like with an ay/A sound. another friend calls it chunngaa...

not that this is a pressing issue of any kind, i'm just unsure how its actually meant to be pronounced

everybody I know pronounce it as you do with the accent on the first A...

I pronounce it chung-gah - but I've heard people call it Chang-gah.
Sonorous fractal manifestastions,

This thread is cracking me up.

I've been pronouncing it CHANG-gah, (rhyming with 'clang'Pleased but will henceforth pronounce it with the "Ah" sound.

(Without resorting to excesses or exaggerations which might make it sound British in my American mouth)
