Website Archive of Recorded Verbal DMT Reactions Options

Howdy everyone,

I'm interested in making a website archive of recordings of peoples' initial reactions when they first come down from hyperspace - because I think the quality of that immediate reaction is a totally different beast than subsequent trip reports that reflect on the experience at more of a remove. Would anyone be interested in helping with this project? I already have a url & Traveler has graciously contributed some coding... but I'm pretty technology illiterate and would love to work with a few others on getting this up and running. =)

Cheers!

haha what he said ^^^^

yeah I think that could be worthwhile... but I'd be worried it would make DMT seem silly to outsiders.

I'd be interested in helping out. What do you need?

BTW I think you are right that the immediate response will be different than the response 1 hour, 2 hours, 4 hours, 1 day, 7 day's later. Integration has a lot to do with.

Actually...to be completely honest....when a proper hit of DMT is taken I honestly don't feel like talking for almost an hour after the experience. I try to just sit in mental silence...an awe of sorts with the magnitude of what I just witnessed and the pure profundity of what it really means to me.

So I'm for sure down with helping out, but my hypothesis is that the reports will be different, but that they may not contain anything more meaningful. Remember meaning is something our brains apply to a subjective experience....even once DMT has been metabolized and excreted you are still continuously living one subjective experience after another....The real question is what meaning are we applying to these experiences....

I've seen these videos on youtube of kids (college? high school?) sitting around taking dmt blasts....then being like "whoa, dude!"

Things like that are bad PR.

How about Hanna Montanna/Miley Cirus taking a bong hit on a video someone put on youtube. The week after it's posted she claims that it was not weed, it was salvia. Thanks, Miley.

At the same time, your project sounds cool enough that I can't be outright dismissive--I'm just pointing out a pitfall.

I appreciate your perspective.

Good points, but I was thinking it would be something more curated... kind of like the quality trip reports section here. Because I've overheard friends that have just come down say some crazy profound things that only could have happened in that moment. The "woahs" and "dudes" can stick to youtube.
