Hi, does anyone know whether a tea of M. hostilis and B. caapi would cause the former to become orally active? I know that it is normally useless when ingested, but if B. caapi is an MOAI inhibitor it should work, right? Has anyone tried this combination?
Peace

Although I have never taken this combo, I know it works. Ive heard people call it Mimosauasca, or just refer to it as Ayahuasca. The Aya vine will definitely make the Mimosa root active orally. Toadfreak!

There are a number of people here on the Nexus who have taken these plants in combination. I'm counting down the days until I have had a complete year free of any substance, then I will continue experimenting with a certain few plants, Mimosa and Aya are on the top of my to do list. Toadfreak!

Mimosa hostilis and verucosa are both known as "jurema" to the indigenous people in brazil who use them..and they do NOT use an maoi with it, other than sometimes they use a bit of passionflower-not enough to activate DMT. Mimosa is orally active by itself at about 20g with a cold water extraction which does not destroy the other alkaloids in the rootbark that allow mimosa to be active alone. That said, yes I have used caapi brewed with mimosa as an admixture many many times. It works very well and it is something I work with on at least a weekly basis. I grow both plants as well, they definatily fit together. Long live the unwoke.
