Today I invested in my local spacestation by purchasing an essential vaaapp eclipse. This is their website http://essentialvape.com/ . I really like that it comes with multiple vials because you can load up several experiences ahead of time. I just got back from breaking it in and I have to say it is excellent. It is certainly much more efficient than melting the spice into screens in my pipe. I haven't tried a GVG and the spacestation didn't carry them but I really liked the look of this vaporizer, and because I'm in there fairly often I got it for 90 bucks. Just thought I would share my experience, now I need to go back to exploring the intricate pattern that has appeared in my bedroom's carpet... It is like an infinitely repeating paisley pattern...

WOAH, that looks really cool and convenient! Thanks for the link lysergic. I'm about to start reading all about it.
I can think of nothing more important for the survival of our species and those we live with then for us all to have access to the psychedelic experience.

I have only had the opportunity to try it a couple times so far, but I am very pleased with the results I have got. It came with a nice case that holds everything and has a spot for a lighter so you can have everything loaded up and ready to go. Just make sure you remember the vials are hot after holding a lighter too them! I don't have a torch lighter so it takes longer than I would like to heat up but there is also very little chance of burning the material with a bic lighter.

Weird, changed the link, the one I got is the original at the bottom of the page that costs $110. The original link works within their own website but I can't get it to work from here, go figure. They all appear to say original somewhere on them, mine is the one on the bottom.

It looks nice and I hope it works for you as GVG works for me. Its actually more expensive than GVG. Please post back with results. It would be also good to compare this vaporiser with GVG if you get chance.

So far I'm loving it. If i ever get the opportunity to use a gvg I will certainly right up a detailed comparison. I bought this one primarily because my local shop had it and I prefer to give them business when I can afford too. I really like the changeable vials, and I just realized last night that a pack of 10 vials is only 8 bucks. It would be the perfect way to travel as you can have multiple vials ready to go.

What's the primary difference between the Eclipse Vape H2O and the Eclipse Vape 2O besides appearance? Also, how many milligrams do you usually use? Can you reach breakthrough territory with this device?

My scale is not accurate enough to be sure what the dose is but I have reached breakthrough on what should be less than 40 mg. My scale goes to .00 and I usually do a dose that reads at the low end of .03. I actually have a little tiny spoon that appears to hold roughly 40 mgs so i try to keep my dose a little larger than half the spoon. I believe it is a 1cc spoon. I don't know if there is a difference as I only have experience with the other one. Also my breakthrough experience was not as crazy as some people have described but I feel once I get more accustomed to it I will be able to go farther with less material. I imagine it is probably at least as effective as the GVG though I have not used one. If you already own a GVG I don't think there would be a reason to invest in the essential vaap unless you like the vials as I do. I find it fairly convenient to be able to quickly switch to a fresh vial as sometimes I'm too far gone to want to worry about spilling material or breaking up herb. One issue people may have is getting spice into the vials, however the little spoon I described earlier is small enough that it is a non issue for me. I have been considering purchasing extra vials so that when my friends I travel with choose to travel with me they don't have to wait for me to get back, they can just screw in the next vial and blast off. I really like having my experiences prepared in advance so if I feel the time is right I can just blast off instead of having to break out a scale, handle the spice, and find a lighter.

Here is a link to a review I found, I'm not very experienced in vaping plant matter but my friend and I had no problems getting completely stoned from two hits of some chronic. The same chronic usually takes me an entire bowl to myself to get close to as stoned as I was. There is a learning curve for sure, but once you get the hang of it its all smooth sailing. Also the review claims that the plant material vapor was harsh, this was not my experience but I am used to smoking spice so most plant material seems rather mild now.

Great choice!

Some of my A#1 experiences "stemmed" from this great little piece Very happy Splurge on some good borosilicate vials, they'll start to crack or shatter after a couple dozen uses.

Happy travels!

PS: Hyperpaisley is like my favorite hallucination ever.

Do you have a prefered source for the borosilicate vials? That seems like a brilliant idea. If not do you know the thread pitch to look for?

Lab glass suppliers online. Be sure to look around, many of them are horribly overpriced or even cheap glass sold as borosilicate!

As far as I know, those little vials (I use the smaller ~1" vials rather than the larger ones the vaporizer includes for ease of use) all use a very similar thread pattern. I did not look up or measure the pitch and length of the threads, but a simple visual comparison was just fine. Just don't screw the vials in super tight (just twist until it sits in there steadily) and you should be gravy.

A tip on breaking through:
It will take a bit of time to heat the glass to near vape-temp, and you should lightly inhale the whole time to prevent burning... Once it comes close to vaporizing (you will be able to tell by the feel of the air in your mouth/throat), calmly finish your breath and exhale. Once your lungs are empty again, go back to gently heating the vial and inhaling... Once the DMT starts to vape (it will bubble in the vial), give it just a tiny bit more heat and back the flame off while still inhaling. Once you get it up to temp, the DMT will keep vaporizing for about 10 seconds without any heat. You can always give it a few more gentle kisses of flame to keep it going.

Unless you clear your lung just before it starts vaporizing, your first hit will be very small. This can be tricky for a bang-zoom breakthrough... but it is actually very nice for a small "chill out" hit before the ride.

The thing takes a bit of practice to get the hang of, but in my experience less so than the GVG. It's also very very easy and intuitive to use once you do learn it, and can be hit easily and effectively with Eyes Wide Shut.

Great purchase, I hope you enjoy it!
Happy Travels!

the difference is how they are heated, the eclipse you are directly heating the glass and the gvg you are allowing hot air to flow through.

you may use the same amount as normal, and yes if you have the ability to hold a big hit in, then yes you can breakthrough. some of my most amazing trips have been from the eclipse vape. the gvg is still the champ though. i fear it's power. i smoke less now since i got the gvg. the hype is real.

i would like to add that the eclipse vape2o is underrated for sure. a big bong rip of spice is a nice way to launch every now and then. get both if you can afford it.

There are two models: the H2O and the 2O. Is there a difference between them, McCoyBoy?

I highly recomend the Essential Vaaapp, or Eclipse I think it's called now. I had the chance to meet one of the inventors of these products in N. Cali on a "tomato" farm in the mountains a while back. Everyone was all in a tizzy about the pipe. The locals were using it for hash oil (I mean tomato oil), and that became my preferred method of administration, for sure. I came home from cali with one and later and we finally found some DMT. I'll never waste my or DMT or herb in a normal bowl again. These things are efficient. Shocked

I'd love to try the water-pipe version, Wheeeeeehew!
