Hi all,

I am a horticulturalist . Today i had to prune some acacia floribundas for a client.
I literally have about 500 - 800kg of branches in my ute and trailer. I just want to know how variable
They are. I have heard that after heavy rainfall there is no alkaloids present.. Which if true sucks
Because there has been a bit of rain in my area lately. Anyone with some experience with this tree would be
Great. I have read the "trying to Improve acacia info " thread and most other threads about it but would
Just like some first hand info.
Thanx.

Good results!
SWIM can confirm it is active. 200g roughly chopped (not powderised)2 x 2hr vinegar cook. Lye.
2 x sherlite pulls. 12hrs in freezer yielded 0.8 g.

Just a quick test to confirm it's active.

Conditions:
3 months after flowering
Summer although it's been around 18•c
a fair bit of rain lately .
Growth rings put this tree at an age of 10.
Height 7 m

SWIM Used branches that Were pruned back from a clients driveway.

incredibly curious to hear the yield on the rest of what you have, maybe after it's dried..? it'd be a real pain to process.
They don't think it be like it is, but it do.
