Enjoy!

I've always been a supporter of Bill Maher. Many say he's too liberal, but for me he's right up my alley, and I find him very funny. I may not agree with everything he thinks, but I recognize that, forgive him for his ignorance, and move on Wink This segment was great.

Oh yeah, Bill's been the liberal voice of libertarianism for a long time now. In the 90's his show was called Politically Incorrect. They actually took him off the air during a witch hunt period a while back...

Real Time is funny, and because it is on HBO, he can curse and say shit that pushes people's buttons. Most of the HBO lineup is actually quite good.

The fact that he went beyond his weekly pro-marijuana diatribe, and was talking about psychedelics, made me sit up and raise an eyebrow. In the context of giving it to kids no less. I don't advocate dosing your neighbor's kids... but I get his sentiment that giving them wellbutrin, paxil, and rilalin is probably worse.

I fantatsized about putting something lovely into the punch at an upcoming wedding party... but any way you dice it, deciding what is best for other people and taking the choice out of their hands is always a no go. (even when you know it would make them happier)
"Curiouser and curiouser..." ~ Alice

"Do not believe in anything simply because you have heard it. Do not believe in anything simply because it is spoken and rumored by many. Do not believe in anything simply because it is found written in your religious books. Do not believe in anything merely on the authority of your teachers and elders. Do not believe in traditions because they have been handed down for many generations. But after observation and analysis, when you find that anything agrees with reason and is conducive to the good and benefit of one and all, then accept it and live up to it." ~ Buddha

Bill rocks!

Which dance before me like a million eyes,
They call me on and on...

Who'da thunk!? The shots at pharma and energy drinks was awesome. It's so mindboggling and sad to me the way everyone drifts with what theyre told, no contest. People will gobble down these personality flattners and gulp green chemical cocktails with enough crap to kill a lawn, but...exploring the seas your own consciousness and expanding your mind...THATS ABSURD!!!

Ya for sure, Im just surprised Maher of all people is actually of this mindset. He's normally a bit of a combative jackass.
