Like really..what do you expect? I certainly dont feel sorry for this guy. You have got to be a half brained idiot to want to spend your days fighting wild animals such as bulls and not expect this sort of a reaction...humans are the strangest creatures...I hope the guy gets better but learns something in the process.

It's hard to imagine how anyone can actually support bullfighting in this day and age. It's just such an outdated and (one would think) politically incorrect display of cowardly phoney-machismo.

I went to see one once in Mexico, 20 years ago. It was a when in Rome kind of a deal, I guess; I was reading a lot of Hemingway at the time and wanted to see for myself. Anyway, I was completely horrified, as I fully expected I would be. The bulls are basically slow tortured to death by the matador and his posse, who work together to create a distraction, sneak up behind it, shank it in the ribs, and then run away like sissies and hide behind a protective barrier. I saw a matador get dumped on his ass that day and couldn't help but stand up and cheer. Still, his posse immediately came to his aid and allowed him to run the fuck away like the bejeweled fop that he was, and in the end the bull lost the fight, just as they always do. The matador sawed its ear off as it lay dead in the bloody sand, and handed it to a pretty girl who swooned enthusiastically.

It was gross.

Yeah a sick way of creating entertainment. Its wrong. That's insane what happened, but these things will always be happening as long as humans subject themselves to it.
