I have had a constant ringing in my ears for most of a month now. it's been worrying me because it's a symptom of many things, none of them good. Plus, it's hella annoying! So, tonight, after work and after dinner, I sat down to smoke some spice. And I couldn't stand the ringing, so I focused my will, and made it stop. It stopped! I have to keep concentrating, or it starts again; but I'll bet if I keep at it, it'll go away. I'm still gonna get it checked out, don't worry. "What's wrong with that generation? ... This is known as tinnitus.
It can be caused by high blood pressure and vasoconstriction (DMT does this) among many other reasons.
I have it just because I've blasted myself with loud music over the years.
I wouldn't worry too much about it, just take good care of your hearing ! <3

also make sure you get enough water, because dehydration causes a rise in blood pressure ,which you can probably hear I can live with these internal high frequency sound(s)...still sometimes I would rather prefer total silence Had he more quickly realized just who they were,he would have shown them more respect.Had he tried harder to fathom their brilliant minds,he would have taken more of their teachings to heart.Had he more clearly understood the purpose of their being, he would have more vigorously tried to assist them. They were truly honorable; he was sadly prejudiced. They were exceedingly well informed; he was grossly ignorant. They were totally indefatigable; he so often, and so quickly, gave up. Still, for many years there was a strong inter-species alliance between the Eleven-Eleven of the Half-way Realm, their Seraphic Associates, and their flesh-and-blood friend, a common mortal. Much was accomplished, many profited, and, there’s only one regret...They could have achieved so much more... All Hypnotizing Hypnotizes Hypnotizing

I had a bad case of tinnitus a few months back, mostly due to excessive ear wax build-up; it could be many different things though so it's definitely worth getting checked out by a doc

Tinnitus is normal with many people. With DMT, the carrier wave can sound sometimes like very loud tinnitus. Personally I have it and don't care about it. Giving too much attention to it isn't any good, ignoring it works well, even in a silent room. I kind of like it how it reminds me a bit of the carrier wave

The herb Ginkgo biloba is supposed to help with tinnitus. And sharpens your memory and concentration by increasing blood flow. It tends to produce a lot of random boners though.

^lol! That's funny, dude.
I too have tinnitus from loud music. I don't go out without my special ear plugs or else it will just get worse. I wish i had worn them at parties before i actually got tinnitus, as i would have normal hearing still. Live and learn i guess.
DMT doesn't seem to affect it too much, but once the day after a session i was getting random spurts of it getting louder. I'm so used to it that it doesn't bother me anymore.

Heh heh, you better stay away from DHEA then. (Dehydroepiandrosterone.) "I've got a random boner, and I'm not afraid to use it!""What's wrong with that generation? ... Ime, DMT and mushrooms and other psychoactives can alleviate tinnitus and certain cranial pain/pressure quite consistently. Well, I found out what was causing the tinnitus -- it's an abscessed tooth, one I thought had healed a month ago. I'm relieved it's not something harder to fix, but it scares me to have had it this long. I'm still amazed that the spice and I were able to make it abate, seemingly by sheer force of will. Er, well, will, and also what SnozzleBerry said. "What's wrong with that generation? ... Is this what comes of putting on Pink Floyd laser lightshows down at the Planetarium?" --Spider Robinson
