To be hosted by Neil DeGrasse Tyson!

I think this is excellent news. Also worth mentioning are Carl Sagan's wife and the other original writer from the original Cosmos are both on board with the new series.

OMG. Thank you for this. If you had not posted this, I may have missed this show or a few episodes. Fox, eh. That made me Very happy.

I first watched Cosmos on PBS in 1980. It set my mind AFIRE. I still list Carl Sagan today as one of my heroes. It just figured when I grew up to learn he was a daily toker of cannabis and had a history with LSD. His tragic, early death broke my heart.

My husband and I are huge fans of Neil DeGrasse Tyson and Michio Kaku. We have been debating who might be the candidate for a modern Carl Sagan role. I am so glad Tyson will be hosting this.
"But even if nothing lasts and everything is lost, there is still the intrinsic value of the moment. The present moment, ultimately, is more than enough, a gift of grace and unfathomable value, which our friend and lover death paints in stark relief."
