I have a liquid Caapi extract I am considering adding to caapi leaves and spice to make changa. I'm now thinking that it won't work; the extract may have the alkaloids in salt form, which can't be vaporized. Here is the product I have: Shaman's Garden 10x Caapi ExtractDoes anyone have experience with a similar product, or have a way that I can check the form of the alkaloid? Mucho gracias.

I have seen this product before and wondered myself. I think its supposed to be taken sublingually if I'm correct. Not sure if it would work or not.
Maybe somebody else could answer that question?

I just sent an e-mail question to the vendor's staff. I will post what I get.

Hmmmmm.... Not sure how you worded your question to them. You'll most likely get a response back stating that there product isn't to be used for human consumption.
If you already have some caapi leaf you could make a changa mix using plain leaf. Then take a few droppers of the liquid extract orally a half hour before smoking. Should give you the effects your looking for.

You are right-- no response from the vendor.
Tried a small dose of the changa last night, though (25mg dmt). Afterglow lasted 90 minutes, so I am pretty sure the extract was in freebase form.
My changa mix was 1g caapi, 1g dmt and an estimated .25 g of harmines. So I am impressed that 6mg of vaped harmines could have any affect.
I think I will either make my own extract or at least by the powdered extract in the future-- more economical and accurate dosages. But, for someone just eager to have the experience in short order, the purchased extract seems to be an option.

Good to know!
You should try to extract your own harmalas next time if your able.
There's plenty of info here on the Nexus to help you out if you need it.
