I got to thinking about all this talk of a shift in consciousness and whatnot, and I had an interesting thought.
Since the dawn of man we have all been competing and trying to out-do one another, trying to survive and pass on our genes.
Well it seems like we have come to a tie, survived and won the game of life as a whole race of human beings instead of a single family or gene pool.
There are so many of us now that we are populated to what seems to be the brink.
If we continue trying to compete with one another it will be sheer chaos, everywhere you turn you see another person competing against you.
We can only continue this process for so long until we all have to be medicated for anxiety disorders and just snap.
So maybe this shift is the human race changing their thought process into one of " Ok we are full to capacity here on earth, why not just try to co-exist instead of compete for existence?"
I don't know, just a fun thought to play with
Like all my theories about life, I realize there are a lot of holes in it but I enjoy toying with philosophies as I'm sure many of you do.
Feel free to blast it to bits! (thats the fun part)
