Spock's Brain

so tonight I park my car near downtown and go for a walk. A few hours later I return to find my door window's been broken out by thieves. I get in my car and take off as it appears nothings missing. Then I realize I'm missing my duffel bag for work, that's it. It contains absolutely nothing of value, just stuff I need for work such as a clipboard with papers, and a hardhat. So now I've got a $200-$300 broken window, and missing work stuff. And why? The thieves have reaped nothing of any value at all - the stuff is probably in a trash can or tossed into an alley after being examined and discovered to be of no value. I went and looked for it and I did find my sweater about 30 ft down the roadway. That is all. I think I'll tape a $100 bill to the outside of my car from now on and save myself some money and hassle.

Most of the time the people breaking into cars and stuff are doing it for shits and giggles. Money isn't the prime motivator here, it's the adrenaline rush.

This is shit-brained, this kind of thinking.

or they saw a interesting duffel bag in the car and thought there was something of value in it. anyways. it sucks that your stuff got stolen and window broken, i hope you have insurance that covers it. i usually stuff bags and whatnots in the trunk out of sight so they wont attract unwanted people.
If the brain were so simple we could understand it, we would be so simple we couldn't.

CosmicFool is a fictional character, a creation of imagination, and everything written above should not be taken seriously, or perhaps read at all.
