http://www.npr.org/blogs...ic-photo?ft=1&f=1001WOW. just lame. If your religion, faith, devotion, or self proclaimed spirituality is not directly leading to an increase in kindness, empathy, compassion and tolerance for others then you have been misled.

that's crazy. Black then white are all I see in my infancy. Red and yellow then came to be, reaching out to me, lets me see. There is so much more and it beckons me to look though to these, infinite possibilities. As below so above and beyond I imagine, drawn outside the lines of reason. Push the envelope. Watch it bend.

SOP for the religiously powerful ever since the Judeo-Christian and Islamic revolutions in the Middle East a couple thousands of years ago - stomp the women down, shut them up, erase their asses. You do know there were no major female players in history, right? No major female political leaders. No major female explorers. No major female scientists. No major female politicians. No major female religious leaders. You learned your church history correctly right? "But even if nothing lasts and everything is lost, there is still the intrinsic value of the moment. The present moment, ultimately, is more than enough, a gift of grace and unfathomable value, which our friend and lover death paints in stark relief."-Rick Doblin, Ph.D. MAPS President, MAPS Bulletin Vol. XX, No. 1, pg. 2Hyperspace LOVES YOU

You do know there were no major female players in history, right?
No major female political leaders.
No major female explorers.
No major female scientists.
No major female politicians.
No major female religious leaders.
You learned your church history correctly right? Yes ofcourse. That's why we should never publish photo's of them. Once you start publishing their photo's, before you know it they've taken control over everything. It always starts with little things such as photo's.

Hilarious! Seriously! Hey! I remember some "N Word" jokes from my youth. Jokes about Jews and the Italians, the Polish and Gays. So damned funny, chicken, watermelon, diamonds, supidity and queers. Damned hilarious! Seriously funny! Legit? To anyone/everyone: How would YOU explain both the original article and the two posts previous to mine to YOUR daughter? 3, . . . 2, . . . 1. . . . . I think polytrip and corpus were merely being facetious I mean...CC hates Jews much more than he hates women, you shoulda seen the flaming jewish star he pm'd me just the other day And we know from his anger threads that polytrip hates everyone
In all seriousness though, I think both of their comments were agreeing with your post on the absurdity of this sort of occurrence Wiki • Attitude • FAQThe Nexian • Nexus Research • The OHTIn New York, we wrote the legal number on our arms in marker...To call a lawyer if we were arrested. 3, . . . 2, . . . 1. . . . . Good Old Boys' Network, please take the last word, I'm done with this thread: Pandora try not to take things so personally/harshly. It's obvious to EVERYONE that we all think this is utterly wrong. The jokes are just that JOKES...and quite frankly I thought they were funny...but you know why? They are funny because it's a part of our history that we have overcome and are still overcoming. You are my equal by every definition of the word. That i would laugh at CC's joke in no way diminishes my respect for you...NOR does it diminish his respect for you. Remember this is the Nexus...most of us are pretty liberal and open minded....and some of us are conservative yet still open minded. No one here is attacking you at all! If your religion, faith, devotion, or self proclaimed spirituality is not directly leading to an increase in kindness, empathy, compassion and tolerance for others then you have been misled.

In my book since I was 12 the following equation applies: Church = Oppression I figured this out without smoking even one joint. That came later when I was 15. Religions are mostly exclusive rather than inclusive which put me off long long ago. Everything mentioned herein has been deemed by our staff of expert psychiatrists to be the delusional rantings of a madman who has been treated with Thorazine who is hospitalized within the confines of our locked facility. This patient sometimes requires the application of 6 point leather restraints and electrodes at the temples to break his delusions. Therefore, take everything mentioned above with a grain of salt...

Pretty simple, they call it sarcasm. It's used to exaggerate the absurdity of removing the two ladies from the photo as explained in the first post. Please, give your sarcasm meter a big kick since it seems to be broken, it even seems to interfere with your 'taking it personal' meter. One good kick to the side ought to fix it. Kind regards, The Traveler

3, . . . 2, . . . 1. . . . . Good Old Boys' Network, please take the last word, I'm done with this thread: hehehe We all have our hot button issues. For me, I get more annoyed when people go around PRETENDING that a supernatural sky-daddy has spoken orders to them about how to structure society (in any but a completely free and open structure). I prefer an ordinary bigot any day, over a bigot who says his god commands his bigotry. At least, an ordinary bigot can more easily be shown the errors of his ways.
