DMT & Memory? Options

Has anyone got any experience with DMT & increased/decreased memory function?

I've smoked cannabis pretty much daily for almost 10 years now which has affected my memory somewhat, i start a new job next week (and will be cutting out the herb during the weekdays) but i really want to trip before i start, im only worried about DMT affecting my memory & making me space out during my training at the new job.

I know DMT can help me push certain areas of my life, like after my first DMT session i could push harder in every way i noticed, at work, during exercise etc... but i also recall periods of mushrooms use where i would space out a LOT in the days following a trip, it makes sense seeing as psychedelics are de-conditioning tools so maybe not so good when your trying to learn something new & hold it in your memory, but it could also be seen as clearing the old out of the inner space to make room for something new to enter.

Perhaps if you trip around when you learn something new and your mind associates it with the DMT, then when you smoke DMT at a later time, it may reinforce that memory? This is pure speculation, but personally I have not noticed DMT affecting my memory. If anything it has been propping up memories I've long considered forgotten.

I don't think it effects memory much but you may find your self spacing out or daydreaming about the trip for a few days after. Especially if it was an intense trip.

SWIM has gone about 11 times now and thinks that spice enhances memory, as most of SWIM's hyperspace experiences have thus far been centered around remembering. SWIM is of the opinion that he tries to remember more and therefore does. Just SWIM's humble opinion.

SWIM agrees that it seems to help with memory. But she recommends that you try it out moderately and see what works for you.

It definitely helps SWIM's memory over time. She says to expect a dramatic shift from the spice as you reduce your ganja intake as well.
