When I said "prescribed", I didn't mean that a doctor has to give you a prescription for it. I just meant that's the "assigned medicinal use". Sorry about the confusion.
So here's what happened with the ginger gum: First of all, it tastes like ordinary gum. Packs a whopping amount of flavor into that little piece though. I took one piece as I was preparing my rue, spat it out and took another piece after consuming my rue, another piece after drinking the pharma itself and then one more piece some short time into the trip. It did a decent job of suppressing the nausea for a while, but it [the nausea] would peak its head through for a second or two at a time. It was beginning to start to seem like I would be able to get through the experience without purging and relatively nausea-free. Well, probably two hours or so after ingestion, out of no where the nausea made itself very present. I got up, went to the bathroom and had some gut wrenching hurls. It was one of the easiest purges I've had yet. It took very little effort, and when I was done I felt on top of the world. Now I should note, that while the ginger gum wasn't entirely effective at killing the nausea, it should be noted that I have an exceptionally weak stomach. Out of the 3 people who have taken my pharma with me, with the same doses and everything, to date I'm the only one who has actually gotten even remotely nauseous from it, so that should be taken into account. I think this could be an effective tool, as it certainly did keep the nausea on the back burner for a while and may have facilitated in an easier purge.
Some things I'd like to note from the experience itself: I took 60mg spice which is the most I've consumed at once (previously my highest was 50mg). The effects kicked in much quicker than usual, and as soon as they did I had these very large hyperspatial objects floating around. They were quite large for a non-vaped DMT experience. Usually, especially before vaping any DMT to take me further into the pharma experience, the patterns are small and web-like or web-configured. These were full-blown hyperspatial objects that were able to take up practically my whole view at once. I was quite pleased with that. After purging, I had a lot of energy, that quite simply hasn't been there since my first pharma experience. I had music going through the speakers literally all day, and while I was listening to some pretty trippy stuff before the purge, afterwards I was rocking out. Never would have thought I could have the energy to jump all around the house like a kid on the stuff [I seem to get sleepier than most folks with this cause I don't do an extraction on my rue]. It was a great experience all in all. After the purge, there was no residual nausea that would return throughout the trip and I was just able to be comfortable and enjoy myself.
Lastly, I'm gonna transcribe what was on the back of the ginger gum box for all who are curious. Again, please note that while it didn't work 100% for me, I have one of the most sensitive stomachs in the world I think. Anyway, here's what it says:
