This video is astoundingly good. The general tagline is "Bipolar or just waking up?". I'm at a loss to describe the video in a complete manner that conveys how well done it is.

It touches on problems in psychology and problems related to the pharmaceutical industry / mass prescribing of anti-depressants. It touches on the various stages of spiritual / moral development, and how it can be seen in the actions of governments / world politics / everyday life. It touches on evolution in a physical, spiritual, and moral sense. It explains the prevalence of "mental illness" in the world today in such a manner that is hopeful.

I suppose I got the most out of the parts explaining the 7 levels of consciousness. I looked back and could see myself developing through every stage and remember back to how my thoughts and actions helped reorient myself during it. It very well described me at every one of these stages, and very well explains why various cultures and peoples act as they do. This is all a rather poor description. I came in to the video suspecting that any system of generalizing such a complex thing would inevitably be wrought with inconsistency -- happily, I was wrong.

I would be extremely surprised to learn if any of you consider it a waste of your time.

edit: Video is 3 parts, a total of 32 minutes.

I agreed with the various levels of conscious...except for level 7. Maybe it means I'm just not there yet Wink It's just that when he was talking about it, some of the things he was saying seemed practically paradoxical. In either case, I guess I would place myself at level 6 or perhaps in some gray area between level 6 and 7.
