Nick Sand, an alchemist whom I have a great deal of respect for,
says that DMT is peizoluminesent. I have never observed this property.

Could somone who has some DMT crystals of relatively high purity,
please do this experiment for me?

Take a vial of DMT freebase, and in darkness, shake it up and observe
if there is light emitted. This would absoloutely blow my mind should it
be true, and it would reshape my opinion of nick sand if it isn't.

I always loved the glowing band-aid wrapper and sparking lifesavers tricks when I was a kid, so I asked my friend to try this. Unfortunately, she was unable to produce any luminescence. She took relatively pure white crystals and vigorously crushed them up inside a test tube using a glass stirring rod in a dark closet. No luminescence was emitted. I'm sure purity of the product and procedure, among other things, could be at issue here. This is just one point of data, of course, so nothing is proven. I'd like to hear about others' results if they choose to try.

More info please!

Where did you read Nick say this?

I don't think he would have reason to lie about it...

The same is supposed to be true with LSD, if anyone has a gram or two to spare... Pleased
