So we have Neil Degrasso Tyson, Carl Sagan, Brian Cox and Stephen Hawking to teach us about
the Universe and physics.
We have people like Richard dawkins and Sir David Attenborough that teach us
about the animal kingdom.

Is there any "charismatic" outspoken people that want to teach the public about
maths and chemistry?

i wish there was but im guessing those sciences arent very interesting to the main stream. cosmology and wildlife are very marketable.

i didnt start getting into chemistry till i began doing extractions and working with beta carbolines. now im fascinated by chemistry and molecular biology where before i had a hard time getting excited about those subjects.

Good question! I think the chemists at the Nexus has done more to get me excited about chemistry than any teacher I ever had. When it comes to math , I believe the best out there is Cliff Pickover at Reality Carnival. He has written around 30 books and some dealing with psychedelics . Really a cool person. Here are a couple of links, one wiki and one to Reality Carnival.

Haha! I dont think that "Jews in hyperspace" are what I'm looking for...have
anyone ever met Jews in hyperspace?

I think that the public could find chemistry equally interesting to cosmology.
Just make it like "planet earth" with microbes=)...in HD, everything is good in HD.

^^Yes this guy for sure. I would have definitely said Dr Albert Hofmann, but the atoms and energy that he borrowed have now become one with the greater all.

Oh, i hate his book with passion. This guy is so full of himself, its interesting to see that he hasn't exploded yet. He talks about how acclaimed he is in the psychedelic community and that his art is at erowid blablabla...speculates a ton and then states that he's never smoked any dmt.

Just wow, thanks for nothing.

(im not refering to jews in hyperspace but the ...other one with DMT in the title...sex aliens sushi dmt einstein...or something like that)
