Hi everyone,

Does anyone know the laws exactly in NZ when it comes to mimosa and caapi?

I'm moving over there and I want to know the laws as i want to send myself over some mimosa and caapi.

Thanks

Well, the only two countries where mhrb is illegal are France (following a Santo Daime lawsuit to get ayahuasca clearly stated as being legal which it already was by default, thank you guys)
and Australia, however your mhrb will be heat treated which may destroy some or all of the dmt tannate.

I have a plan to solve these kinds of problems, we need to discuss about it in a separate topic. I'll post the link of topic once I create it.

moving to the land of the long white cloud? sweet one.Cool

i'm not sure about caapi and mimosa over there, but there are certainly a wealth of acacia species. i spent some time searching for, and performing extractions on several species when i spent some time there- (9 months). although i didn't have much luck, i think i may have been closing in, if i had more time...

acacia grow like weeds, and many species are classified as invasive. i was told that acacia is all they use in australia--where many varieties originated.

we loved nz, and hope to return somedayVery happy if you like reggae and electronic music, be sure to check out canaan downs between motueka and takaka in golden bay. takaka hill is the magical site of several very special festivals thru the year.

Really? I did not know that. I have been thinking about becoming a member of Santo Daime, however, after reading about them, it seems as though they still face legal troubles, despite that in many countries, including mine, they are supposed to have the official legal right to partake of their sacrament. Yet they still face legal issues anyway. It seems better to just practice informally under the radar.
