I think a competition is a cool idea. The winner can go up against the current banner and see what gets more votes. -Close your eyes, See the light, and feel the sunshine in the shade

I like the current one as well - however I think it is a cool idea to have a vote on a new one if their are some artists here who want to donate their time

The only thing that really gets me about the current one is the way the proportions on the central jesters clowns/surrounding patterns is askew.... it's an amazing banner otherwise, though. ¤ø¸„ø¤º°¨¨°º¤ø¸„ø¤º°¨¨°º¤ø¸„ø¤º¨

Yeah, the whole banner is a little stretched but I also find it a little 'in your face' It's not bad though. I would still really like a forum skin which actually removes the banner entirely shoe

A breakthrough dose of DMT is a little "in your face," no?  Too bad it's not shiny and holographic.  It would be fun to see what other people would want to contribute for a banner! Some things will come easy, some will be a test

I love the image that's there at the minute, but what would be great is if it could integrate more with the whole page. If the colours/patterns were integrated along the menu bars and general background of the page rather than it being an image plonked at the top of the page. The trees spoke to me through the wind. The more I listened, the more they spoke.

Maybe, if possible, we could have a collection of banners? The current one is good, but maybe someone could fix up a way for a different banner to show at different times?
