It's been to long since freshman chemistry, and I am unable to figure out how much sodium carbonate I need to use in order to basify my solution to a good ph of around 11 or so. blooooooOOOOOooP fzzzzzzhm KAPOW! This is shit-brained, this kind of thinking. Grow a plant or something and meditate on that

why don't you use a ph meter?

Truth? I'd rather not spend the cash, and I'm POSITIVE there is a way to calculate it. blooooooOOOOOooP fzzzzzzhm KAPOW! This is shit-brained, this kind of thinking. Grow a plant or something and meditate on that

Don't quote me on this but, im not even sure sodium carbonate can produce such a ph. Carbonates are weak bases, hydroxides are medium or strong bases. Try sodium hydroxide, calcium hydroxide or even potassium hydroxide. “Right here and now, one quanta away, there is raging a universe of active intelligence that is transhuman, hyperdimensional, and extremely alien... What is driving religious feeling today is a wish for contact with this other universe.” ― Terence McKenna

1g in 100 ml of H20 will produce a solution with a pH of 11.65. 1g in 1000 ml of H20 will produce a solution with a pH of 11.15. Use a g, G. Got GVG ? Mhm. Got DMT ? so sodium carbonate can basify a solution to VERY high pH's? I figured it wasn't the same as bicarbonate what. The Na's are released into solution and the oxygens from alcohols? Is that correct? blooooooOOOOOooP fzzzzzzhm KAPOW! This is shit-brained, this kind of thinking. Grow a plant or something and meditate on that
