I have an assignment from my horticulture science class on 12 plants of my choosing. It is due in November. Since it is my decision what topic it is, I came up with a few. I would like to do mine on LEGAL sacraments. I've already spoken with the teacher a bit about this and she's cool with it. If this doesn't.work out I'll do.medicinals or something, I have fallback plans.

Why am I posting this? If its ok with the mods, I'd like to solicit samples from some of the members here. Its only leaf or bark samples of LEGAL plants. So I'm not going to post the plants I want just yet, I'll wait for a mod response. This seems like a good spot to post it: )

Sounds like a pretty neat project. If I had to pick 12, i'd probably go with ololiuqui, ayahuasca vine, Anadenanthera seeds, datura, kava, betel, salvia, eboga, tobacco, coca, trichocereus cactus, and cannabis

Unfortunately, I have no money to order all these things due to the quantity in which they're normally purchased. Hence why I ask of you, nexians, to send me a leaf of a plant if you have one growing. It sure would help. We could work out a trade.

Morbiddoctor, considering the reluctance of most Nexians to relinquish their real-world identities, you might want to try making an account on exoticearthexchange.com and posting there. Especially if the Nexus sees this post, they'll know to look on the thread on that website in order to help you out.

The Exchange isn't much right now, but the idea behind it is that it can be a daughter forum to the Nexus where all of the ethnobotanical trading that can't be done here will take place.

That was my original intent actually, you hit the nail on the head. I forgot my account info there though, and am awaiting an email from the boss. I'll make a new temporary one though.
