What a ride

I suppose i'll start off with what a great night i had.

My band played a gig at one of the trendy artsy coffee shops downtown. They also serve beer and wine, and are open fairly late on the weekends. We played in front of only about 60 people, but it was a full house for the size of it.
I was pleasntly suprised by the amount of friendly faces with warm smiles.

My grandparents even came out to see me for the first time. This ended up being my night to shine! I play in a Rock'n Roll- Blues - Jam - Band. We do covers and origionals, but when we played 'Three Little Birds' by Bob Marley, my grandfather began to cry. He and my grandmother were so proud of me. It was a special moment. My mother passed away about 5 years ago, she had cancer all over. I haven't seen my father for a couple of years(he moved to the other side of the country) so my grandparents have really been my only support when needed.

By the time i packed up my gear, finished my wine, said my hellos and goodbyes, and got home it was just about 1AM. I had been debating all day weather or not to journey. I just got my GVG the day before (the box was sitting on the kitchen table when i got home from work), and decided to take the opertunity to pull an all nighter since i had off today and was in such a splended mood.

SO... 5 dried grams of shrooms down the hatch... I prepared 3 doses of different grades of spice and packed the first GVG. Then i smoked some high grade herb in front of my computer and waited. When i started to feel the effects they came on soft and slow. About an hour and 20 min after i ate, i could feel the momentum rapidly increasing. My stomach ached. It ached for almost another hour. It was tolerable but distracting.

I went through several dynamic emotions of joy and sorrow. Mostly joy. I thought of music, and playing it, and about the great night i just had before that. I also thought of fond memories of my mother, .... then i thought of how brave and what a truely, giving, and loving person she was. I thought of the pain she must have had to endure physically and mentally. For one of the treatments they had to put screws in her head to keep it still while treating the brain cancer.

Something inside of me worked with this emotion and gradually got me back in a positive mindset.
Through out the progression of the night my visuals neared the intensity of a DMT flash (not completely full blown of coarse). While laying there, there were times when i could have sworn that i heard a voice in my head. It was very deep in tone and viberant. I couldn't understand what it said though.

Now about 2 and a half to 3 hours into the trip i decided go for the GVG. The moment had arrived...

I lit the torch and proceeded.

It felt like i blinked and suddenly a feeling of intense extacy swept over me. I felt the stimulation if pure energy and information beaming into me. Every fiber of my being was going through itself. I almost felt as if i had the ability to teleport!

I was having some of the most sureal high def OEVs and CEVs yet! The CEVs didn't rip me out of my body but the geometry machinery was there like never before! All of those beautiful swirly electric colors lined with jewles and shapes (lots of triangles) performed an intricate "dance".

Here's where things really start getting weird! My OEVs were also very intense as i said. Walls were breathing heavily and many objects in the room "danced" as well. I noticed a higher concentration of more drastically moving objects on my bookshelf. So i couriously stumbbled over to check it out.

I noticed my rock collection. The thought came to mind that all through out history different cultures had sacred stones and precious rocks, from shamans to fortune tellers with crystal balls.

In my collection i have several nice unique pieces which i will add a picture of tomorrow......

In the collection i have two perfectly sphere pieces of quartz, not a dimple on them! They are about an inch and a half to two inches in diameter. And have crack like features on the inside that glimmer a sweet rainbow pearl when held in the right light.

Any ways while trippin my face off i held one in each hand. Very cold and very dense. It just felt amazing to hold. I could be completely wrong, but i think there is some kind of energy with in the spheres. When i put them down after about a minute or so my palms began to sweat and my hands felt like pins and needles!

After a few more intense moments the flash was over.

I loaded the GVG again. This time was with more intent and fouous. After i got the hit down i grabbed on to the quartz spheres again. This time was much more intense! I took the hit and layed on my back, legs crossed and arms crossed over my chest. My body felt very heavy yet very comfortable. I felt like i was breathing with much more ease then when i was sober. I felt the oxygen in all my cells. Thoughts and information beemed into my head once again, just way too quick to possibly keep up with.

I began to cry and almost wimper looking up at the intense spackling in my ceiling changing colors and seeing morphing creatures within it. Tears of joy, tears of beauty.

I worked with the quartz spheres again today since i was so courious and seemed to have yet another intense experiance! Has any one ever worked with crystals or other precious stones? I'd like to think that there is the possibility of using these quartz spheres as some kind of tool, but i remain skeptical.

I know this was a little long and could probably have used more detail. Its just crazy how fast these memories are forgotten.

Aaahhh, the Bardobeing, one of my favorites. I absolutely love Alex Grey's work (who doesn't?), especially coming down off a trip or in the middle of some intense OEVs. Alex's art work truely comes to life and each piece has a message (as does most art,but Alex really stands out.) I Also have a St. Albert and One mounted on the wall. I bought them a couple years ago a week after my first DMT flash.

I have to note though that, be carefull with crystals. We really don't know anything about them and all the 'new age' mumbojumbo psuedo knowledge is all based on speculation from the dark ages when prophets and organized religion was still rife.

I think/hope crystals are powerfull indeed, maybe even dangerous how they are miss used at the moment, but there are to us like computers are to monkeys and anyone that says its all about the energies amd know how they work etc is frankly a charlatan or sells them.

That was very informative, and pretty much what i wanted to hear. I'm definately going to do more research and proceed with caution.

I feel a calling to push ahead and do more work with the crystals after having such powerful experiances.

Oh, I dunno about that. while they certainly demonstrate the peizoelectric effect, claiming that a crystal is a 'being' is quite a far fetched thing to be able to evidence.

Can I also just add, In the interest of sanity, that whatever experience you may have had while tripping and holding crystals, There is absoloutely no way in hell that they could possibly be dangerous. Man has lived atop magma containing quartz since age unfathomable, while sure they may produce small electric charges and resonate at fixed frequencies and other neat properties, they are absoloutely NO WAY IN HELL dangerous. Okay?
