Could monoamine oxidase in the gut be occupied with some monoamine (eg tyrosine) long enough to allow oral dmt to slip by and become psychoactive?

It's not that I have anything against harmalas or traditional maois. Really. This just came up as an idea for an alternative method of experience. If it's closer in essence to vaped dmt than an oral trip that's modified by harmalas, that's okay. If it's somehow changed because of of the monoamine used or some other factor, then that's okay too.

questions to consider:

1. Has someone thought of this (honestly investigated it) and I missed it in searches?

2. What monoamine would be best suited (safe, cheap, cleanly metabolized or "natural", minimal contraindications, etc)?
2a. How much of the above MA would be required?

3. What sort of time window would there be to ingest dmt effectively?
3a. Could an excess of the MA be used to increase this window or would it just be flushed on through?

4. What would be the safest way to test this theory beyond "we don't know enough about ___ to say ___"?

5. Speculations? (How long or intense might it be? Similar to ____? etc?)
