I was interested to know if anyone has tried 'magic truffles' before? I've been researching a bit on the net and from what I can gather it's a type of fungus which does not resemble a mushroom but is hard and dark colored. It typically can be found under the cap of certain edible mushrooms and can remain dormant for a long time, in some cases up to ten years. It's also known as Philosophers Stone. Can anyone confirm what these are like? Similar to a Psilocybe trip?

Also does anyone know whether or not they can get delivered to Australia? Many sites I've come across advise that they can ship here however I'm unsure whether or not customs would let it through.

I've had these in amsterdam before, their really nice, slightly different than cubes and most others imo.
My experience was pleasant, quite long lasting maybe 4-6 hours and it was more like ecstasy than regular mushies. Lots of energy, lots of bright colours, lots of love. Didn't know you could get them in aus...may have to order in sporeprints and grow ur own?

ps: SWIM has ordered in B+ spore prints, and from what I know spore prints are legal coming into aus as long as their only for "microscopy purposes". DO NOT order spore syringes as they will get confiscated without a doubt.

also called sclerotia there's quite a bit of talk about these on the shroomery. I'd try and find people that have these strains already in australia and do a trade,or something.
Psilocybe mexicana and Psilocybe tampanensis both form sclerotia, as well as Psilocybe atlantis. The 'A' strain of P. mexicana in particular is known for its exceptional sclerotia forming abilities.
