I have been looking forward to an experience with the spice for some time now and a friend was finally able to find some. It was light orange in color and smelled somewhat like plastic but yet it was celestial and divine in scent. I've read a lot of posts regarding what to look for, smoking technique and what to expect from the experience. I know I should have measured the dose but I just eyeballed 20-30mg in a "oil burner" glass pipe and away I went. I held the torch about 6 inches away from the bottom and watched the contents melt into one single liquid drop. I moved the lighter closer then farther away while turning the pipe from left to right trying not to heat it too much and get the temperature just right for vaporization. Vapor started to form in the bowl, I started a slow steady inhalation and drew in as much as I could. Blast off!! or was it?? Within 10-15 seconds I feel tingling over my whole body, the room I'm in narrows and I lay the pipe and lighter down, sit back and exhaled the large breathe. The middle of my forehead, where the "third eye" is located, tightened and I felt tension on the very top on my head, like someone was squeezing the crown of my head from all sides. It didn't hurt, it was just a tremendous pressure. At this point I close my eyes and immediately feel as though I am on the bridge of the Star Ship Enterprise as the star field in front of me turns into long white/ vibrant colored lines and streaks and launches me into what appears to be a 3D room of amazingly vivid almost pastel colors. The feeling is that I am welcome here. I feel as though I have left my physical earthly body and I am physically in this incredibly intense, warm, nursery like setting. I look around and there's what appears to be a baby's crib, a baby bottle complete with nipple and a beautiful woman (mother - not mine - kinda like mother Mary in the Bible, although I am not religious) holding a baby. The room is perfectly defined, the edges razor sharp. It appears that the woman and the baby notice me and offer me the baby's bottle from which to drink. I accept and as I mentally take the bottle it explodes into trillions of rainbow fractals. The woman shows me the crib as though to symbolize birth/ re-birth and I take notice of what she is showing me. I start coming down at this point and the my vision becomes more fractalized (sp). Within what seems like 1-2 minutes I slowly re-gain my physical earthly body senses and realize I am back on this planet. Did I blast off in your opinion? It felt like I did, but I didn't really get the whole "center of the universe, God entity" type experience. I understand that the spice can show you different things at different times and that there is always something to learn from the experiences, but do I need to break though where I was and go beyond? I tried smoking a little more about 12 hours after that and again about 6 hours later. The strange thing was that the experience was almost exactly the same as my previous "breakthroughs" if they actually are. I had 3 amazing experiences and I am still reflecting on what I can learn from them, but I wanted to get your opinions in order to determine if I should do anything different. Thank You for reading! Dont get too caught up whether you had a breakthrough experience or not. It was what it was, and thats what matters But if I would have to answer you something, I would say, 'if you still were aware that you smoked dmt, then you didnt breakthrough'. This is not to say that your experience is in any way less worthy or important. Every experience is divine, one way or another By the way, I would suggest changing your smoking method. First of all, the oil burner doesnt seem so effective. The fact that you have to be all careful with the smoke, that you have to 'think' too much to make it work (and possibly burn some of it) will mean that once the effects start, that extra puff or two which would make all the difference, will be impossible to make. If you have a simple effective apparatus (like a vaporgenie, preferably, or a bong with dmt sandwhiched between herbs might work ok too), you will be able to keep taking those essential extra puffs while the whole world is already turning into fractalized dimensions . all the best on your future journeys

That sounds weird. I thought I had broken through and i don't even remember anything so specific and unchanging. I just remember being in the center of intense fractal world. Perhaps you did, perhaps you didn't: next time, simply try to take as many huge hits as you can in a row. You seemed to say that your first time you only took one hit. If your others were also 1 hit, then you're probably not breaking through. You need to keep going until you are paralyzed, so it might help if someone holds the vape/bong up to your face, lighting it for you as well. That way you can go the extra mile and take 2 or 3 or maybe even 4 huge rips, holding each in for 10-15 seconds. It's ridiculously intense but you gotta pull through. Try this and post again; I wanna hear how it goes. The above is for entertainment purposes only.

The effects were certainly intense and I didn't think that they would be that amazingly intense from just one huge toke. I held it for 10-15 seconds and the effects were instantaneous! It felt like I left my physical body but wasn't sure if I went beyond the "chrysanthemum" that McKenna spoke of. It felt like I was in a room but there were a lot of fractals too. I understand what everyone is talking about when they say it's difficult to take several hits in a row. I plan on getting a Vapor Genie ASAP because the third time I burned the spice and then the smoke burned the back of my throat, that was a rough experience. Try this and post again; I wanna hear how it goes. Yeah, the intense fractal world is definitely a trait of where I ended up, but it was also crisp and clear at the same time, if that makes any sense. It felt like a room but there was so much going on that it was hard to concentrate on any one element. It was very beautiful, warm, and welcoming! Mere words do it no justice. As far as being paralyzed, I do feel as though I have left my physical body but yet I am still me in this other dimension. I'm going to go the VG route, take 2-3 huge rips and see if that delivers different results. The hardest part of doing that is that after about 20 seconds I start blasting off and my physical awareness goes away real fast!! Thanks for the tips, I'll put them to use and report back with the results. Namaste Every post made by OneWithGod is entirely fictional and intended for entertainment purposes only.

Hi! I was in your situation recently, and in my last trip I moved on to the 'next level' for the first time, to a place where time stopped and I was merely part of an idea floating around. I'll write a trip report soon. This was off of just one big long toke from an oil burner, like you. I also had nursery-type symbolism at some point, so my report should be relevant, I'll try to remember to link it here My feeling is that dosage depends on people, and that my breaking through to that other level had more to do with my mental approach, in terms of detachement, attention and meditation. It was more a question of mental navigation than of dosage strength. That being said, I'm also wondering about the real meaning of "breakthrough" I though that's what happened when I was swimming in jimjam, still conscious of my breath. Now I feel like there are two levels of breakthrough, I should read up more to compare. SWIM is Spartacus!

Now I feel like there are two levels of breakthrough, I should read up more to compare. Thanks for the incredibly informative posts! This is exactly the insight I was looking for. The way I have come to understand the spice experience through reading this forum, Wiki, search and YouTube videos is it is a combination of "stages". At this time I feel it is a three stage experience. Stage 1: Tingling sensations/ altered visual acuity Stage 2: Amazing fractal patterns/ loss of perceived physical body Stage 3: Entity interaction/ explanation of meaning of life/ answers to life's questions/ entity gifting, etc... I felt like I had elements from both stages 2 & 3 and that's why I was seeking some sort of verification. I'm going to try different approaches such as meditation and notate the results. I keep a very open mind and relax in order to let the spice take me where it will. I want to learn as much as I possibly can and feel as though the spice will teach me what I need to know. Breakthrough is just a word, my friend - and where the DMT experience is concerned, words will always fail. The experience is multi-layered beyond anything we can imagine. There is always a deeper, next plateau. Try and resist the urge to qualify it.
For me, what I think of as breaking through is simply ego death. It's the point at which I cease to be an observer of my environment and actually become the experience itself. I am obliterated. There is no more me. No breath, no chatter, no nothing. The experience is no longer something which is happening (or being done) to me, because there is no me to do it to. I'm a drop in an endless ocean of perpetually changing physicality.
To get to this point, a trusted assistant can prove extremely useful - someone to handle the pipe and lighter, and ensure that you finish your dose. It takes a force of will to get there, and then it demands your surrender. Master both and the depths you can reach will be quite literally limitless.
I know all about this nursery, as do many others here. Amazing the commonalities. But then again, it's ALL amazing.

I agree 100% with that. The "you" you think you have an understanding of is gone, and your mind becomes transformed by DMT. It is novelty for every aspect of your being. So I guess to even remotely describe the experience, one would liken it to an onion with many layers and I've only just scratched the surface......VERY EXCITING TO KNOW!! I think there has to be more to the spice than any other mind altering substance due to the similarities in everyone's experiences, that's what's so fascinating. At this point I fully understand that I am at the very beginning of my journey and have much to learn from my travels. My third eye has become accessible for the first time in my life! In my personal opinion, I would say you had a breakthrough experience. To me a breakthrough experience on something is where you feel that you've left the room. If you can no longer make proper sense of your surroundings to the point that you perceive yourself to be elsewhere, to me that is a break through experience. "Science without religion is lame. That's exactly why I was so confused and couldn't tell if it was a true breakthrough or not. I was certainly somewhere else, but I wasn't sure whether I could go farther or not. The experience was so incredibly intense that it felt like that was as far as I could go. I am going to implement the suggestions regarding multiple inhalations, a Vapor Genie, and meditating/ breathing properly. I've been reading about adding vocalization and/ or hand/ arm movements. Does anyone have direct experience in doing this? Does it work or should I even try it? Namaste Every post made by OneWithGod is entirely fictional and intended for entertainment purposes only.
