ammonia + methane and good ol' lightnin' --> simple amino acids -->peptides ---> nucleotides--> simple membranous organisms/bacteria

what really intrigues me is how dynamic dna/rna is. viruses mutate, pretty much guaranteeing job stability for biochemists/biotechnologists
