Saw an enjoyable, light, playful documentary called Babies today. As ms_manic said in her thread in the Help and Advice for Healing section today, SEX IS SOMETHING IMMENSELY STRANGE AND POWERFUL! It's almost like DNA has a mind of its own, causing people to overcome themselves and bang each other in, over and over and over. But there's a deeper meaning behind it, above and beyond the animalistic reproduction strategy. A meeting of two souls. BABIES is the show-and-tell of what some of these meetings can result in. The sort of movie where most of the people in the theatre are families and their kids...and me, agape at the power of creation. Check it out...it was especially nice with the last of the Peruvian Torch tea Cool.

Thanks for the post, sounds really interesting! I'll be sure to check it out when I get a little bit more time.

I've always been fascinated by Jim Morrison's views on sex and the countless taboos associated with it.

It's no surprise that many tantric religions and cults have spread far and wide and use sex/erotica as a way of achieving a type of 'shamanic' ecstasy.

Which Jim Morrison are you referring to? Do you have a reference that I might share the views?
