One time when I looked directly at my hands they were gecko hands.
A mirror would be sweet though I think, would have to be a low dose
otherwise..what mirror

This is something that I will be trying soon. I have been wanting to do this since first going into hyperspace. Mirrors + Mushrooms= Beautiful Madness!! See the Question isnt can you do it but how long can you do it
Can you Imagine? From one single Idea everything appeared here.

Swim has a friend that looked in the mirror the first time they did it. Claimed they saw themselves as buddha. They have braved walking to the bathroom a few more times to do it again.

A friend of mine looked too long at a mirror on an enormous dose (21+grams) of mushrooms. He started the trip with a beard, but ended it pretty much clean shaven. He almost shaved off all his hair too....claimed he had to get rid of the snakes growing out of his face and head.

I usually stay away from mirrors. They terrify me when I am in the beyond.

Yeah hands are weird, they seem to glow and look leathery. Reptillian definitely! Maybe an ancient part of the brain rarely used and needed gets activated..

Ive looked in the mirror a few times recently. Dont like looking at my face necessairyly because it gets distorted and you see every pore like a previous postee mentioned. But it is interesting to see your eyes and hands. In your eyes it just looks beautiful....on your hands they look a little shrunken like little sausages, or maybe what ohters decribe as reptilian...and on the palm of your hand you can see little pools of energy that kinda looks like transparent rainbows and are shifting

I looked inn the mirror on mushrooms and it was very interesting. Some kind of patterns grew out of my face, and there was a celtic knot like embleme on my forehead. I also had a green aura.

It was also scary, but in a funny/interesting way.

Do you mean 21g DRIED ?!

And by the way I love looking at my body while on dmt or shrooms but a friend of mine had a panich attack, started wailing and curled herself on the floor
after looking in a mirror while on a moderate amount of shrooms (3g dried). Needless to say she has a very bad body image even if most people find her
really pretty.

I looked in the mirror on a large dose of shrooms and my face turned very cartoony. My eyes grew large and bulged out of my head. I started laughing at myself because it was funny, but at the same time i think i was kinda scared! It's not every day you get to see a 3D cartoon version of yourself in real life.

I looked into a mirror on mushrooms, and it wasn't me.

Sure it wasn't a window? Cool

JBArk
JBArk is a Mandelthought; a non-fiction character in a drama of his own design he calls "LIFE" who partakes in consciousness expanding activities and substances; he should in no way be confused with SWIM, who is an eminently data-mineable and prolific character who has somehow convinced himself the target he wears on his forehead is actually a shield.

I've done this before. The insane dmt transforming effect is really peculiar when you see it happen to your own reflection. You forget that it's YOU that you're looking at, you feel very detached from the reflection that you see. Definitely worth a try, it felt very personal, and eye opening for me.

I made the executive decision to remove all mirrors from my "safe zone" after I had used a copious amount of dmt & caught my reflection on accident. I saw myself with 6 arms, a blue/grey aura that I could hear radiating around me, and an elephant trunk. Tis laughable in hindsight. At the time, not so much. I had no idea if it was really me, if I had morphed into something else, or if I had no reflection at all, but was peering at someone/something else. Mirrors are not my pals when on the other side. Though, I'm not fond of looking at myself, or any other Human while under the influence. It pains my eyes...similar to staring into the sun.

The stuff you can see in mirrors on psychedelics is just indescribable. Anything can literally happen.

Its been shown that eye contact is processes by the right hemisphere, and well known that it can be a useful trigger for accessing altered states- even in mirrors. Mirrors can still be terrifying for me on psychedelics and sometimes i have to avoid them, but over the years i also learned to use them to deepen the experience and make it more coherent, especially on the come up. This carried over into sobriety where i can still access an almost dmt-esque state with simple eye contact in the mirror and a sort of relaxed focus that facilitates a slight shift in cerebral dominance

btw this thread is from 2008 ^____^

<Ringworm>hehehe, it's all fun and games till someone loses an "I"
