So I went through about 4/5 of a gram of spice from a friends extraction and then I had a hospital scare. I had been feeling heart palpitations for a while previous but they went away. They recenty came back and after a long spice session the night before my heart seemed to be freaking. I pretty much then had a panic attack until I had some sort of resolution.
There wasn't much resolution other than the ER doctors were comfortable with sending me home and said that it wasn't life threatening and that I should see a specialist. From the starting point of that panic attack I have been a border line nervous wreck and feel like It is hard to get normal thoughts over worrying about heart trouble. I also had a few less than satisfactory experiences with the spice just before m hospital visit but I think it is due to worrying about my heart.
I went to a specialist and am still awaiting the final results but he said I most likely have PVC's and that it is not life threatening and the only real damage done is making the person with these pvc's have panic attacks and stuff like that due to the mind freaking over nothing if you get what I'm saying.
Also I took a dose of really good acid and most of my peak was worrying about my fast heart rate. This is how my lasT couple of dmt experiences have been also. Soo I'm afraid of the spice almost right now and I need some gentle encouragements so could some one give me some inspiration?

hate to be the bad uncle here, my friend, but it sounds to me like you should leave it alone altogether for a while. If I were you, I wouldn't be looking to do any more spice any time soon. If you've ended up going to hospital after taking it, leave it alone. Besides, you were doing HUGE amounts - 4/5's of a gram? What are you trying to achieve? That's just crazy, by my reckoning. If you've got a heart condition and aren't inclined to use spice responsibly, leave it alone. Do not use it any more. "at journey's end, we must begin again"

Listen to the specialist - it is not something life threatening. You should really stop thinking about it at all. If you live in the thoughts of what may possibly happen in the future, you stop living in the present time. In order to have good experiences with entheogens and with life in general, you need to have your full attention in this exact moment. Ask yourself, what good does it do to worry about the potential negativity in the future? Does it achieve anything? Or is it only drawing the potential future negativity into your current existence, thus fulfilling the prophecy?
I wish you all the best!

To clarify it was 4/5 a gram in about three weeks. I don't feel that is out of the ordinary. I got serious direction in my life, support on alot of ideas I had been pondering, love, and a much greater sense of who I am. Thankyou all advice is EXTREMELY appreciated.

alladinsgrandpa wrote:To clarify it was 4/5 a gram in about three weeks. ah - I thought you meant, at once, in a session. I still think you should stop and think about shit for a while. Let everything settle. Don't chase it. "at journey's end, we must begin again"

I agree that you should probably lay down the spice until you have learned to live with the condition w/o panic attacks. Sounds like you need to stay away from stimulants altogether. I would also consider using DMT less often. I understand the need to "go back", but if your experiences are not helpful and possibly causing negative effects (panic attacks?) its time to take a break. Just my 2c The Spice extends life The Spice expands consciousness The Spice is vital for space travel ___________________________________________________________________________________________________ Never underestimate the power of STUFF!
I am certifiably insane, as such all posts written by me should be regarded as utter nonsense or attempts to get attention.
I don't know SWIM and personally don't trust him at all. If SWIM is posting, most likely I will not respond...as I said, I don't trust the guy. YOU I trust, but never SWIM.

Just my 2c What has happened the last couple of attempts is I will be hauling ass in hyperspace then all of a sudden a though occurs to me about my heart and then I proceed to check my pulse, I am then to far gone AT this point and begin to worry due to my inability to judge the seriousness of the situation. I then continue to think about it and how I jis have to wait until the effects of he spice wear off to check it. By then there is no heart thing going on it's just my brain jumping to conclusions. Writing this thread has actually helped me a bit with realizing what is going on. I forgot to mention some people with serious cases can have something like 13000 in a 24 hr period and not even realize it. Where I have had it 6 times in one hour at the most and this was during my big hospital incident where I was assuming impending death and freaking shit due to not wanting to die at such a young age. Pretty much I am just tweaked out I think over thinking about death in such a way that it seemed very possible. But it's not even possible to die from this unless there is an underlying heart issue ( I have a perectly healthy heart other wise)

Always before I do any ceremony, one of the most important elements of preparation is security: if I cannot feel physically/mentally/spiritually safe for the entire journey under every possible circumstance (this includes people in the house not stomping around, no interruption, extra blankets, box of tissues, glass of water, laundry done, car parked where I won't get a ticket), I will not go. If you cannot feel safe for whatever reason, I highly recommend trying to resolve the issues pre-launch--otherwise you are setting yourself up for panic and anxiety. Hyperspace will always be there, there's no harm in taking a little extra time to get your life together and make sure you can devote 110% of yourself to the experience when the time is ripe. With love. Some things will come easy, some will be a test

caffine used to give me heart palpitations..still does if I drink coffee. Cannabis does it as well. Long live the unwoke.

I am a very avid cannabis user but I haven't noticed any correlation of cannabis use and heart palpitations. Actually the day I went to the hospital I had used a significantly less ammount. I hate the word "use" when referring to cannabis for some reason

Lots of good advice here.
My 10 year old daughter has PVC's. She has one every 4th beat like clockwork. I's a "regular irregular" heartbeat.
It was very scary til we learned a bit about the condition and how common it is. The cardiologist we saw recommended monitoring it for changes once a year, but otherwise told us not to worry. He even said playing strenuous sports was fine.
Take some time to adjust to the diagnosis and feel safe and comfortable again, then decide if you want to go back.

It is advised that I also limit cannbis for a while too?

I would just keep in mind that THC is a stimulant..especially when combined with caffine and other psychedelics. Higher doses of cannabis always make my heart go all racy, its very very uncomfortable. It's part of the reason I cut it out of my daily diet. Maybe you should really ask an open minded doctor about it though for an experts opinion. Long live the unwoke.

I just heard the best news I've heard in a long time. I had to wear a 24 hr monitor on my chest the other day and the results are in. I'm good. It showed nothin when I recorded feeling a palpitation. My theory is that it is just my heart hitting my chest because I feel it when my chest is expanding mostly (I think). But anyways that is really some of the best news I've heard In an long time.
