SWIM who lives around 29 degrees North Latitude in a semi-tropical area has access to fresh Chacruna leaves.

SWIM likes the simple and non toxic Instant Ayahuasca Little Lightening Bolt TEK

According to this TEK he would soak fresh Chacruna leaves in everclear( covering leaves about 1 inch) for 1-2 weeks(?) shaking the jar every so often.

The strained Menstrum would then be placed in a small pyrex baking pan and placed in a food dehydrator(?) until the liquid is fully evaporated and the resulting residues crystalize. SWIM would then harvest the spice with a razor blade, scrapping the crystals off the pan and placing them in a dry place.

Is this all Correct?

Now what SWIM does not understand from lack of experience is what to expect on how much spice will result from his initial extraction method. SWIM does not know the average ratio conversion of plant weight(Chacruna in this recipe) to crystalized spice?

I am a pretty entry level chemist. But I would assume you could end up with a waxy chlorophyl/lipid/tannin filled paste or goo. Mabye dissolve into some smoking herb for enhanced leaf?. I'm not sure you'll get pure spice as many other compounds are soluble in ipa or any forM of alcohol . (Everclear)

the dry leaves could contain up to 1% DMT, the spice you will get through this extraction will be a crude extract with a lot of impurities so it will hard to dose with, it's better to do a simple clean up on it also the DMT will be in salt form if you want it for smoking then you should convert it to freebase DMT
one of the ways to clean it is to dissolve the crude extract you get in a minimal amount white distilled vinegar, some impurities might not dissolve so you filter them out with a coffee filter, then base the DMT solution with lye or sodium carbonate and pull with naphtha then freeze precipitate...
if you don't have access naphtha or any other non polar solvent, you could after the filtering step put the solution in the dehydrator till dry then scrape the DMT, powder it and mix with an equal volume of sodium carbonate and some water to make a paste, then dry that paste scrape and powder, dissolve the powder with alcohol and filter it, then evap the alcohol and collect the DMT, this way you will have a cleaner product and in freebase form

You're overthinking this one. A simple LazyMan's tek was all I needed to do in order to get a ~1% yield (please note that you'd need to stress the living hell out of the plant via dehydration, harvest leaves at sunrise or sunset, just to have so much as a single shot at such a Herculean yield as this).

IME the freeze-precipitated freebase alkaloid exhibited identical physical properties as MHRB extract, and made for some fantastic changa (for some reason, chacruna changa feels green---much more jungle like than acacia sourced spices).

I'll say it once more and many times again if requested: DON'T OVER THINK IT. A SIMPLE LAZYMAN'S TEK IS ALL YOU NEED WHEN IT COMES TO EXTRACTING FROM CHACRUNA LEAF. IF IT DOESN'T FORM CUTE BIFURCATED CRYSTALS AFTER THE FIRST FREEZE PRECIPITATION, IT DOESN'T MATTER SO AS LONG AS YOU TURN IT INTO CHANGA AND LET ALL THE TOXIC CHEMICALS EVAPORATE WHEN YOU'RE DONE. CHACRUNA EXTRACTION IS NO DIFFERENT THAN MHRB.
