Okay I'll try and do my best to write an introduction here...

I'm a 53 yo man from the US. I've been going through some challenges lately,l. I had to have a digit amputated, my dog of 15 years passed away, my wife doesn't love me, etc etc. I am disabled and spent all day every day with my pup and I'm feeling pretty bad. My SNRI had stopped helping. I know to ween before trying any psychedelics.

I have dabbled in psychedelics in my youth. It always have me clarity and helped me see things from an outside prospective. I've really been wanting to try DMT since I first learned of it.

Also had anyone tried 2-FDCK? I think that's still not on the schedule.

Anyway nice to meet everyone and sorry if that's over-sharing

awn007,

Welcome to the Nexus. I am sorry things are so difficult for you right now.

I would counsel a modicum of caution around use of psychedelics and in particular dissociatives given what you have going on. I honestly believe the Shulgin technique of drug exploration makes the most sense.

I would counsel to start very low then over a period of experiences/trips, titrate up gradually until you find a sweet spot. This can minimize chances of getting into serious trouble.

Regarding DMT I would encourage you to check the extraction TEKs in the wiki and make your own rather than try to get it some other way. That way you know that your product is clean/pure.

I hope you get more answers and find what you are looking for.

Welcome. I am sorry to hear about everything. I recently lost a dog too and it's really tough when they were your companion for so many years. DMT really has helped me deal with loss in many ways. Any chance your wife might be interested in taking this journey with you?
