My experience with Iranian poppy Options

The important difference I found(for this report thingy) between Iranian poppys and opium poppys is the fact that Iranian poppies have higher amounts of thebane,I think that it might be the main alkaloid in the Iranian poppys .although I believe the other alkaloids such as morphine and codeine are still present . The dosages I used were 2-5 pods with the stem either eaten or brewed to tea. These dosages were effective for me, this does not mean it will be as effective or as safe or unsafe for you. This dosage was repeated whenever I felt the effects lessen(about every 3-7 hours). The high was similar to Oxycontin but with the added body high of a moderate to low dose of morphine. There was also a mild pain in my chest that a cigarette eradicated when the effects began to lessen and was a weird mix of sedating and stimulating .After about a few weeks of this I ran out of the poppies, therefore I quit cold turkey. The withdrawal began with me feeling horrible, then an intense pain in my chest came. About 30 minutes after,I began to shake and became very agitated and couldn't think straight. With this I got a very bad cough and stuffy nose, with an upset stomach, this lasted for about 4-6 hours. the only symptoms that were left after were the stuffy nose ,cough and the pain in the chest was only slightly painful, this lasted for about 3 hours. I dont recommend anyone try this, if you do please use it in moderation and safely.

Thebaïne is a potentially dangerous convulsant at higher doses. Some strains of Opium poppy are thebaïne-predominant too and this has caused problems/fatalities on occasion. By "Iranian poppy" do you mean P. bracteatum, or another species?

Thanks for sharing, and although poppies are not the main focus of this forum I'll let your report stand for the moment for the purposes of harm reduction.

“There is a way of manipulating matter and energy so as to produce what modern scientists call 'a field of force'. The field acts on the observer and puts him in a privileged position vis-à-vis the universe. From this position he has access to the realities which are ordinarily hidden from us by time and space, matter and energy. This is what we call the Great Work."
