The art thread is incredible, thank you guys for sharing, while looking at some of the work of Ernst Haeckel, I couldn't help think that some of those works lend themselves to the alien nature of hyperspace.

Honestly, you guys are incredible! THANK YOU to all artists posting here, huge inspiration!

I've been checking out this thread for the last 2 hours straight! Sitting in the office and pretending to work Laughing

I'm also learning how to draw and paint, and when I look at you guys I realize how much there is still to learn. Kind of exiting and frustrating at the same time...

At the moment I'm learning by doing landscapes. Yeah that sounds kind of boring, but to just paint or draw something that only exists in my head seems impossible at the moment.
I hope that will get easier as I keep practicing.

I'll post some of my first steps soon.

Just keep 'em coming guys!

So here are some of my first steps....
Nothing mind bending but I'm just starting out and learning the basics. I certainly wish I had more time to dedicate to making art!
(please apologize for the crappy pictures!)

I think those are great. Keep up the good work. I think you'll find that there's no magic formula. Do it a lot and you'll keep getting better. That's the only trick.
