Not the usual kind of art, I suppose... But something I've been working on for some time. It was a Yamaha Pacifica PAC012 at one time (Yamaha's take on a SSH fat strat); I have no idea what it will be when finished. That's awesome! I want to learn how to draw mandalas too but am fine with working on zentangles for now.

stonedsam, thanks. I can`t say exactly how many hours I spent on this 'dude' but initial point was in january. Then i took a break for about 3 months from it. In general it was quite complex and time consuming project. LSDvibes, my avatar is Bryan Itch "The mother" with slight tweaks from me.

@BlazingSatva Wow, that's a lot longer than I spent on my drawings. I make pen drawings (often simplistic), so I usually only spent a few hours on a drawing. Keep up the good work, I am glad I got to see this painting. @Orion Haha, that's actually a lot better

There are so many things I love about that one flowersniffer. The vine geometries at the lower core are particularly reminiscent of florid hyperspace patterns. "Science without religion is lame. Religion without science is blind" - Albert Einstein
"The Mighty One appears, the horizon shines. Atum appears on the smell of his censing, the Sunshine- god has risen in the sky, the Mansion of the pyramidion is in joy and all its inmates are assembled, a voice calls out within the shrine, shouting reverberates around the Netherworld." - Egyptian Book of the Dead
"Man fears time, but time fears the Pyramids" - 9th century Arab proverb

Thanks Global What's interesting is that my wife is completely on the natch, she won't even drink coffee! She has trip sat for me on more than one occasion and I think she must have got some kind of contact high but she has never, at least in this lifetime, viewed reality through an entheogenic lens, she just kind of feels it. I've attached another piece from the same series ... flowersniffer attached the following image(s): Yellow flower .jpg (167kb) downloaded 531 time(s).
