I watched up until about 10 minutes, and aside from him somewhat ignoring his guest, I havent heard anything too bad. Im assuming something happens later? Around what time? Mind giving em a brief recap?

Joe Rogan is the thinking man's game show host. He's alright in my book.. -I enjoyed the you tube video he made where he encounters some kind of being while stoned in an isolation tank. And why do you look at the speck in your brother's eye, but do not percieve the plank in your own eye? Or how can you say to your brother, "brother let me remove the speck from your eye", when you yourself do not see the plank that is in your own eye?-Yeshua ben Yoseph

I see nothing wrong with spreading awareness about this experience. It seems like every trip , as soon as I come back and even during the experience I have a strong urge to share with other people. It almost feels wrong to keep it a secret. Yes, some people are simply not in a mental/physical position to benefit from it, which is fine. But for me it did what it does to a large majority of people, it simply shows you what is possible and it solidifies the fact that the material world is all smoke and mirrors the only thing that truly matters is the thing that lays beneath it all, Love and Energy and how those things interact. That could be VERY important for the proliferation of our species. "You are something the whole universe is doing in the same way that a wave is something that the whole ocean is doing" -Alan Watts

Yes, some people are simply not in a mental/physical position to benefit from it, which is fine. Please don't. Also, please read the stated Attitude regarding reckless spreading. Some things are best kept a secret. Working with DMT, a Schedule I drug, should be one of those things. Please take a moment and think about this. About four years ago, Joe Rogan introduced me to the idea of DMT, and while I currently hold few common viewpoints with him on the molecule, I think it may only be because of him that I got into the whole thing (possibly psychedelics overall) because of Joe. Same here. And not just DMT. Sometimes a simple analogy is all you need to make things crystal clear. Smile - Akasha224

I liked Joe Rogan much more on fear factor.
I don't care about other's sharing their opinion. Drawing attention to my my illegal way of life isn't quite the same ;/

I think mostly I don't really like him spreading this info. I guess in a way I really like the idea of it being less known to the masses. Also I don't like the fact that he's done it only 2-3 times and yet is the one exposing so many people to it. I'd much prefer someone who had more exposure and was more careful to spread correct information while also advocating caution and reverence.

I got to hang out with rogan for awhile. He's a very humble person. He's also quick to point out when he's wrong. I don't know if I would have ever found out about dmt if it weren't for him talking about it. When I heard him first utter those three epic letters D M T my ears perked up, I was instantly intellectually aroused. It happened right at the time where I was most likely to pay attention. I had pretty much quit using any psychedelics. There are negative set backs from the sudden spot light dmt has found itself in. I also believe there are some positive side effects. I don't really see the problem. If I were to compare, rogan seems more logical in his speech than McKenna, and terrence is also known as a spokesperson for dmt. Joe Rogan is a righteous dude. "In the universe there is an immeasurable, indescribable force which shamans call intent, and absolutely everything that exists in the entire cosmos is attached to intent by a connecting link." ~Carlos Castaneda

Joe ftw, doing great work imo!
His general take on things and influence on people is that of promoting a healthy lifestyle with exercise, being around good people, trying to learn and be humble, being critical of governments and the drug war, etc....
And as anarchy said, he's quick to note he is wrong or doesn't know anything, and that people should double check anything he says, which IMO easily compensates for any out of context quote from him which is 'wrong' and may make people angry at him.

Yep I agree. At first I didn't care for him much. Then I started watching a few of his podcasts and actually became a fan. He is doing good work and he has a healthy skepticism while remaning open minded. If your religion, faith, devotion, or self proclaimed spirituality is not directly leading to an increase in kindness, empathy, compassion and tolerance for others then you have been misled.

Joe Rogan has nothing to do with my awareness of spice. I was lucky enough to try it years before I'd ever heard of him, first saw him when I started watching the UFC. Discovered his podcasts two years ago and to be honest most of them are pretty cool. Of all the times he's spoke of DMT, the ones I've enjoyed most were the podcasts with McKenna and Aubrey Marcus. Those were the times they talked about it with some reverence and respect, and had intelligent discussions regarding the chemistry of spice and other psychedelics, and the traditional medicinal uses of them. All the times he has doctors and scientists on as guests are the most interesting. Should it be legalized or will it in our lifetime? Probably not. In a world where cannabis is illegal mostly everywhere, DMT doesn't stand a chance. It's too damn strong I do worry about it becoming more and more mainstream but someone here already said it similar, if it wasn't Joe Rogan spreading all this stuff over the airwaves it'd be someone else doing it. Is he our spokesperson? Nah. Maybe A spokesperson, not THE spokesperson.

I have people I admire. I would never ask for an autograph or a photo. All I would ever want was the memory of just hanging out with them. That would be soo cool. I recently decided to listen to a joe rogan video for the first time and i really enjoyed it.
i was wondering if anyone here maybe has some links to their favorite podcasts? I am currently working two jobs and don't have time to go through so many different talks blindly but would really like to hear more.
