Whoa!!! It's like electronic melty paint!

I could see that as being very lively while in a psychedelic state of mind. Even while "sober" it seems to move and my brain makes up its own images in the patterns.

Nice one Cyb! I was looking at it for a while thinking it was an actual construct of wax or resin or something before I realized it is digital. Very nice surface to it.

Some more psychedelic-induced drawings found a home within photoshop.

The inner soul is full of joy. Reveal my secrets and sew me whole. With each day, "I" heeds your call.
You may not care the slightest and may not be the brightest, but from here "I" sees you're mighty for you created it all.

And the jumbling sea rose above the wall.

Through this chaos comes the order you enthrall.

Dang VIII! I meant to tell you how cool that one is a while ago! I really like the colors. They're vibrant, but mellow.

d-T-r,
I have always envied people with such a steady smooth hand as yours. Well done!

Olympus,

You have some of the coolest designs, man! I really like how that one is placed on his shoulder.

spinCycle,
That's the most psychedelic smiley! Very hypersimensional!

The art forum has been pretty dead lately. Where's all the art?! Get to work people, what do I pay you for?!

Well, as for myself I have many near-completed drawings. It's been a flood of creativity, but a drought of getting-things-finished.Razz

So here's one that's unfinished, but I thought I'd post it up anyways. If anyone can tell me what it is that makes me like this one so much (it's a novel aspect), I'll give that person a hyper-dimensional inter-consciousness space cookie (or biscuit for you Brits (cyb)).

Yes, I am being hyperbolic, but hey?! Its fun, and I'm pretty jacked-up on myself for this drawing.

That's very cool Mr. P.

This is something I painted a few months ago after finding a bunch of canvases in a dumpster and being inspired to paint something. I would like to paint more but I haven't really had the time to practice. Anyways, it's acrylic.

EDIT: Sorry this is a rather crappy photo of the original.

Every day I am thankful that I was introduced to psychedelic drugs.

That's great Hixi! You haven't shown a lot of your paintings- got any more? Great metaphor for trying to grasp the intangible.

Let me know if you need advice on photographing art.

Mr. P, that's great. Another very tattooable drawing BTW. I like how it appears natural, despite being in violation of at least a couple natural laws. Good one.

Would also make a great painting.

I specifically intended to violate natural laws! You nailed it, Guyo! You have earned yourself one hyper-dimensional trans-consciousness space cookie. Your observational abilities are astounding, good sir.

I really appreciate that a couple drawings you've told me are tattooable. I'll take that as a good sign coming from such an accomplished tattoo artist! It actually got me thinking about getting into tattooing. Obviously you enjoy it, but I was wondering, is it generally a fulfilling line of work for an artist? Is it tough to make a living? What happens if someone is unhappy with their tattoo? I sometimes get frustrated at the demise of a good sheet of paper, so I can't imagine screwing up someone's skin!

Hixi,
I love it! It's whimsical and yet thought provoking. I wish I had your painting skills! I'd definitely like to see some more of your work.

Mr.P: ...that's quite luvly (have you been spending time on Pandora?) it's crying out for immersion into the colour banks of Pshop/Prisma (I really wanna see what the top cropped part looks like...just ocd like that) Thumbs up

Hixi: That looks so familiar, can't place it...all I can think of is ... 'Bloop!'
