I really enjoyed this movie. Heath ledger died halfway through filming it and they had to rewrite the script. Thats why colin feral, johnny depp, and jude law were in it. I think the rewrite kinda nerfed the story but it was still really kool.

I actually didn't know that Ledger died before the film was finished and I thought it was meant to be like that Smile I thought it was pretty cool!

That's why on the credits it said "A film from Heath Ledger & Friends".
I wasn't sure what the original story line was, but the movie came out enjoyable to say the least after all it went through.
Just to lay on some post-production dramatic trivia, the producer died of cancer one week after the shots had been completed. Also Terry Gilliam got hit by a car, injured, but was able to publish the film. You can read more about it on the link below if interested.
