Hey sorry for taking so long to respond phlux SWIM has not been around much. A slow evaporation over a day or two (or more) at room temperature. A slow cool to rt wouldn't hurt so long as supersaturation is reached although this maybe difficult to accurately titrate it wouldn't hurt but may just be unnecessary. Just DO NOT use any heat to evaporate the water and large xstals will slowly form. Play around with it.

Excellent work Bufoman and Phlux, SWIY has inspired SWIM to go for the slow re-x. SWIM will post pics in this thread ASAP, seems to be good place. Anyone else brave enough to post some intimidating pics?

SWIM just found out he can get bestine cheaply and locally, so he'll have to try his hand at crystal growing one of these days.

Just got some heptane from the art supply store, sometime in the next few weeks I plan to do this re-Xing with 20+ grams (I have ~14g that need cleaning up and 1.5 extractions to go). Hopefully I will have some VERY sexy pictures to share with y'all!
