Hi - Not sure if this has already been scooped up by 3rdI's uber-effort, but given that this is in Thicklight's ACRB extraction tek thread which gets plenty of traffic and is referenced in the wiki, I thought redundancy wouldn't hurt - "The bark I used was from Hawaii and was whole root bark via..."https://www.dmt-nexus.me...aspx?g=posts&t=39030 SortedCheers - 0.

We need to build up the wiki with as much content that is super easy to navigate for information IMO (from plant information and ID, to growing guide for specific species, to extraction teks from specific samples etc), then it's bound to eliminate the repetitive or uneducated questions that crowd the forums. Especially the posts from new guests that don't read the attitude and FAQ sections from either laziness, or the "I can build it without reading the instruction manual" mentality, or whatever other reason. I am so thrilled to see the amount of effort that my peers on this forum are putting into this clean-up. I haven't had much time to pitch in, or even post much recently, as I have been holding down three jobs. But I fully intend to spend some time on clean-up duty this weekend. I am still a little bit confused as to what constitutes "slang"... Would words like "spice", "hyperspace", and "blast off" be considered slang? By the definition of the term "slang", I would think so. But I would be incredibly surprised if the mods on this forum were intending to expand the Attitude to that extent. Could we get a few examples of the type of slang we are trying to avoid? Thank you Trav, and the rest of you fine folk who have been putting in the effort to improve this forum. I think it will most definitely pay off in the end, allowing The Nexus to live up to it's full potential as an unparalleled source of information regarding psychedelic/entheogenic plants and alkaloids.

I don't know how the forum is implemented and if it's possible but maybe a report button could be available above the posts with a small comment field when pressed to inform why the report is done. I've seen this on other boards sometimes. It could make the work for mods easier and keep the forum cleaner as long as the button is used with common sense. Maybe implemented in such way that only full or senior member have the ability to use it.

You could then flag a thread as such, double post language FAQ ect. At this point it might be a good measure to help keep the forum clean for the future as 3rdi has almost single handedly linked all effected posts lol! I will start helping as soon as I get time. A report button with an explanation field would greatly enable us to "clean as we go" instead of having to do what we're doing now. I am not a programmer or site builder so I don't know how much work it would take to implement this but it seems worth it to me. I'm thinking these should be merged into the "VG VaporGenie: How to use, where to get, advantages, etc" thread as they are all questions about gvg stuff. Or faq sake? I dunno...

The field acts on the observer and puts him in a privileged position vis-à-vis the universe. From this position he has access to the realities which are ordinarily hidden from us by time and space, matter and energy. This is what we call the Great Work." ― Jacques Bergier, quoting Fulcanelli

I had created a review thread on mg scales almost a year ago HEREmaybe it can get a sticky somewhere and the following threads can be merged into it.
mod wrote:Merged into into new sticky in FAQ. Most posts were older than the suggested thread and therefore would have made stickying that thread irrelevant, so they were merged into the oldest post found. Thanks. Is there a way of moving new "acacia ID" threads into the "Acacia Identification Thread" ?
