You relate so well, yet you go so deep. You come back and report with energy and entheusiasm.
I read along and I feel I can understand, even though I have no experience with certain substance, I think you paint a good picture.

I do wish I could arrange a gathering like this right now.
Build on this playground! Build a theme park!
Keep on the mind engineering. You have our eyes and ears.

Nice one Smile

Huxley's got a few novels on me...Embarrased High praise indeed though, Soulfood - God, I am Borscht-Red with blushiness. Thank you so much for reading and appreciating - you made made my day!Smile It should come as no surprise that my spirit feels nourished, however, reading comments from a guy named Soulfood!Cool

Your welcome.

Seriously though in relation to the experience report section of 'doors of perception' this is at the very least on par. I'm not a specialist in literature but I sure know what I like Smile

Anyway, he's done for now so... plenty of time to catch up.

The picture I paint is a vacuum without the canvas of your mind as a field to imagine it in.

My gathering was both fortuitous and serendipitous... I met Shayku on the Nexus, contacted him when I noticed he lived in my town, helped him with an extraction and through extraction down-time conversations, we became friends. Without risk, life is a dull featureless void...

I am not a social being, but am making an effort at being social. The night described is the fruit of my risk at social interaction. Risk nothing, envelop thyself in putrefaction; risk all, and the risker lives.

The theme park is evolving. Smile If i do indeed have your eyes and ears, I humbly offer in turn my reflections, so you may, if I am adept, see yourself within.

Thanks so much for reading and persevering through to the end - that's the most any of us can doCool .

Cheers,
JBArk

Thank you, jBark - for this report, and for all your continued efforts in mapping the neural pathways of our joyriding.

You're a fine example of why this forum is the absolute best of its kind. You're the reason I spend the ridiculous amount of time here that I do.

You're one nutty bastard. I look forward, as always, to your next official accounting.

Awwwwww shucks, pucks and double-shucks...

My next one might not be for a while - I am off to Thailand tomorrow with the family and will be AWOL for a few weeks, and incapable of indulging in anything worth writing about beyond spicy food and eye-feasting. Thanks for your unwavering interest, and I assure you that as soon as I have the time to venture inwith and wardout, I shall report back here and work hard at conveying the frontiers I find, traverse and reset.

I really love your reports jbark!..reading this just confirms for me that idea that I must one day experience ketamine..I totally enjoyed reading that and it was worth waiting for the right time when I could sit and go through it slowly..cant wait for more to comeVery happy

Thanks for taking the time, Fractal - Much appreciated!! And yes, do try ketamine in the right environment. I can't speak for doing it alone (either with no one and/or no other substance), but this lil mix was quite the experience!

Happy new year to you and to all.

A great continuation jBark! This data stream you describe sounds very familiar from my own journeys in the past with IM'ing ketamine. It seems like a complete diving into it with the higher doses, completely apart from the physicality. Perhaps the MDMA helps ground and related to the body?

Thanks for writing, it was, of course, as good as the first. What a really fantastic glimpse into the possibility of mind altering substances, and their potential when combined. I'm sick to do what some of you guys have done, but I'm patient for now, got other things on the burner that will have to work out. I had never thought of K as something that I just had to do, well, that's been changed, thank you sir. Congratulations on mastering some superb writing skills there, nothing comes across as repetitive or confusing. Clear, sharp. I look forward to reading more experiences.

Oh, and I like this bit a lot too. Love the way my mind breaks down phonetics and re-interprets linguistics the sound of my minds tongue changing it all. Beautiful.

And that was part 2......... Awesome write up once again jbark Very happy

I think its interesting that you touched on the question of "fun without work". While part of it may be because of your catholic upbringing, I think it is a very significant theme that goes beyond imposed morals by some or other religion. I think humans do naturally give more value to something they worked for.

While they are not my choice, I dont think that using these substances that you are mentioning is necessarily wrong or a problem, specially if in your daily life you are fulfilling your duties and doing the work necessary to "earn" your right to a leisurely experience, whatever it is. I can understand, though, that they could easily provoque more remorse-of-conscience if one isnt doing the pre and post-work and if the usage is very frequent, due to their hedonistic qualities.

The work of self-analysis and necessity of surrendering to a classic psychedelic experience can serve to make one appreciate and respect the experience more, but integration is still a must, of course.

So what can I say? I think you should listen to yourself regarding which substances, how much and when to take them. I think your self-critical nature will pretty much prevent you from going too far astray from a good path, so ultimately I dont think there's much to worry. Just make sure that whatever path you do take, you write it down and post it here, for our linguistic pleasures Very happy

Thanks Ragabr. And yes, I think there was something going on between the MDMA and K, and also the Nitrous, which several times acted as a launch pad/booster after a last line of K, vaulting me up and beyond just as the ketamine kicked. I would like to try K alone to see how it differs and to at least experience its signature solo, but my fear is that the absence of fear in this instance was the result of the MDMA. I guess we shall see..

In a couple of weeks I am getting together with that group again at another chalet for 2 days of cross country skiing and cross callosum being.

I will let you know if anything fruitful transpires. It's agonna be FUN!!

I think a decent dose of K, with the experiences youve had with the non-dissociative psychedelics, should not cause fear as the dissociation, if you just let it flow, will take you to a place where fear even as a concept just will not exist. And, as Im fairly sure the Nexian named ragabr will concur, IM all the way!!!Very happy Mad Wink (should your K be of the appropriate purity/quality).

Thanks Lavos - So glad you took the time to read it! If you wanna read more, I have extensive reports in the mushroom subforum (MYCOMYSTERIUM and MYCOPAX), the salvia subforum (THE SALVIA DIARIES), a few scattered DMT reports and one the in the LSD subforum (lucy dreams of lucy dreaming of...)

And concerning patience - the patient are rewarded tenfold in these endeavours! Post a report when the time is right - I'll gladly read it.

Cheers,

Finally getting around to responding to this. Thanks for the reassurance! I feel sufficiently justified that I have been a relatively good boy in my everyday life that I deserve, in 2 weeks, another hedonistic foray with these same folks + a couple more (including my GF, if the committee will allow (her difficult alter ego who is always present for negotiations and planningShocked )). If anything of interest ensues, which is likely(!), I will report back here!!
