after following those links DeMenTed posted and reading about how much yield could be lost and trying some of my spice i dont think i will rexstaling.

this spice is fantastic and im not seeing any reason why swim would want to waste nearly half of it just to get it whiter.

Swim has started another identical extraction (100g's MHRB+100g's lye) and has already seen better results.

his first pull yielded 300mg's already (compared to last times ~100mg's) and the second pull is now in the freezer.

swim is still doing small pulls using a small collection jar and re-using the naphtha each time instead of having multiple snow globes. This seems to work well for his situation.

swim is very happy with the results and credits them mostly to a longer and more thorough heat bath for the naphtha and a bit longer time in the freezer for precipitation.
