Mainly old school Goa Trance. It really depends on the situation. Mushrooms would require more organic sounds, a bit calmer, something like Inlakesh. I'd enjoy stuff like Full-on/Forest psy-trance in rave/festival situations and there's a massive dancefloor. Chill out for just chilling with friends. You are an imperfect being, created by an imperfect being. Finding your weakness, is only a matter of time.

Speaking of psychedelic music as a genre is kind of odd in my opinion. BUT I enjoy : Tycho Carbon Based Life Forms Shpongle Deep Forest Vibrasphere Ryan Farish A few others but I can't recall them so maybe they are not worth mentioning :}
Orion Rebirth, that Navigator song is pretty nice! "Think more than you speak" "How do you get rid of the pain of having pain in the first place? You get rid of expectations" "You are everything that is. Open yourself to the love and understanding that is available." "To see God, you have to have met the Devil." "When you know how to listen, everyone becomes a guru." " One time, I didn't do anything, and it was so empty... Almost as if I wasn't doing anything. Then I wrote about it. It was fulfilling."

interesting music soulfood. also, nice production skills. as i was listening i got the impression that the stereo image could be widened a bit more. maybe panning some instruments to the extreme or automate the pan or add some controled lfo to the pan.it will make room for the sounds and there will be the feeling that there is more going on through the song. just an opinion.

A very well-informed and trusted opinion may I add That's just a rough mix at the mo, but probably my most complete work to date in terms of concept/arrangement. So far it's all been made using hifi speakers in a nasty sounding room, but once I get access to better facilities I shall pay extra-special attention to the stereo width. Cheers

yeah, the gear does make a difference. also, with near field studio monitors the room is not the biggest problem because your sweetspot of listening is smaller. studio monitors is the first thing you should go for anyway.
wish you all the best

Some of my two cents, mostly late 60s through late seventies.

This band from San Diego is really awesome. Just a three piece, but they really keep up the intensity and have a full raging sound. This is just the live concert I happen to be watching now, but anything by them is great, and on their official albums, the sound quality is very high. "Curiouser and curiouser..." ~ Alice
"Do not believe in anything simply because you have heard it. Do not believe in anything simply because it is spoken and rumored by many. Do not believe in anything simply because it is found written in your religious books. Do not believe in anything merely on the authority of your teachers and elders. Do not believe in traditions because they have been handed down for many generations. But after observation and analysis, when you find that anything agrees with reason and is conducive to the good and benefit of one and all, then accept it and live up to it." ~ Buddha
