#261 Posted : 1/4/2015 6:18:46 PM
I've been installing a drought resistant garden as well as increasing my magic cacti armada.
I don't have a problem, just a growing passion.

I'll start with two pachanois, followed by two bridgesii

GROW MOAR CACTI

A Mammilaria plumosa (the real fluffy one) and another Mammilaria I don't know the species name off the top of my head.

And a beautiful Oreocereus I picked up. I can't wait to see her hue & tones around sunset!

These pictures are seed grown Astrophytum variegates mainly and some lophophora and ariocarpus. The last three are, in order, Rebutia miniscula flower, a TPM x SS02 crest grafted to selenicereus with lady bug, and a huge Lophophora alberto-vojtechii graft.

Yes I forgot myself, but I believe it is a Lithops species. Lithos, like stone or rock. Very unusual forms those ones. I'm glad I caught it flowering.

That is a Pleiospilos species. Lithops are a bit different looking. Here are some baby lithops.

Flowering continues apace here in sunny Spain.
One species that has given a good floral display is Encephalocarpus strobiliformis - small but beautifully coloured blooms. I started with two of these but now have dozens.

Life is a shit sandwich - the more bread you got, the less shit you eat.
