Not cat related, but I love the bouquet throwing tradition. Women will claim they don't believe in superstition and they're a rational minded person. Then they go to a wedding and trample each other to catch a bundle of flowers that the bride threw, because they believe if they catch it they'll be the next to walk down the aisle.
