wow. love that hand guyo. seriously, i'm kinda jealous of that hand.

do i see like a shooting star falling into the ocean and landing on an anemone? those little splashes/tentacles/anemone are dope. love all the geometry within the stars. can be tricky to pull off in such a small space.

dope work brother (and sister)!

We worked together on the drawing, then she did the first session of actual tattooing. Then two years passed... You know, life and all that. Then last night I spent six hours giving it the high technical polish... On hands, this can take a couple passes.

In most tattoo collaborations I've been involved in, both artists will take turns on drawing, making the stencil, along with every stage of the application process. The best collabs are the ones where the artists' efforts are the most mixed and integrated- that's how you get work that looks like it was done by a third artist, one who only exists when the two participants get together and meld minds.

If I happen to find myself in oregon, I think I may get some work done Razz
“The most compelling insight of that day was that this awesome recall had been brought about by a fraction of a gram of a white solid, but that in no way whatsoever could it be argued that these memories had been contained within the white solid. Everything I had recognized came from the depths of my memory and my psyche. I understood that our entire universe is contained in the mind and the spirit. We may choose not to find access to it, we may even deny its existence, but it is indeed there inside us, and there are chemicals that can catalyze its availability.”

Oly, your art work is some of the most amazing tattoo art I have seen. Completely blown my mind. I would love to have the honor of having your ink on me.

I have yet to get any tattoos, but I am planning on getting some soon. I was thinking of drawing up a humming bird made out of some trippy design, and want it to have some meaningful writtings around it. It is for my great aunt, who passed away a few years ago. She was the women who raised me. I plan on finding someone who will add her ashes into the ink so she is always with me.

I am thinking of something like, "Forever loved and missed, your teachings will never be forgotten. Rest in peace, may eternity treat you well." I also want her initials on there, which ironically are D.M.T. Big grin

I also am thinking of the words being in German, since that is our main ancestry. I have yet to find anyone I am confident will do it justice.
Everything published by Gone-and-Back are the mad rantings and ravings of a mind who yearns to be free and thinks he knows what he is talking about. However, these are just delusions made to feel that freedom, because that freedom will never come. Any experiments done are purely figments of the imagination, and are falsified to the highest degree. Nothing should be taken seriously from a crazy mans mind.
