I was just reflecting on my lack of visuals and any other symptoms that may have occurred in the time frame.

I have found that at first glance, people that look similar to people I know look like the people I know. That is, I see a person walking down the street that looks similar to SWIM. I get close enough to see their face and at first glance it seems like they are SWIM but they are in fact a completely different person.

I have noticed a greater frequency of this in relation to my DMT intake. Does anyone have similar experiences? This happens while solely under the influence of marijuana.

Maybe DMT affects a part of our brain that relates to remembering faces or remembering people. This could explain why many people see humanoid figures while tripping.

wow i have the same problem pretty bad too and I dont even smoke weed anymore but it happens to me often when I'm sober and a lot more if im messed up. I think it is some type of consequence of any psychedelics because I already had that problem before I ever tried DMT. Ive used a lot of ecstacy and lots of ketamine and lsd so i think they are all connected in underlying ways that sort of distort your ability to differentiate between people. Sometimes I see people and I feel like they look familiar or like someone I know or knew and then I think about it and I cant really be sure if they really do or not! kinda disturbing. It may all be connected to the oneness of everything too which drugs of course have opened your mind to. If you've ever seen the movie called SCANNER DARKLY with keanu reeves its about a drug called substance D that after so much use the user cant feel the difference between different objects or confuses people for others until he basically loses consciousness. its a good movie creepy you should watch it
