Hello everyone,
A few months back I used Endlessness "Harmalas Extraction and Separation Guide". Final product was a white powder that look just like the pics from the guide. Problem is when I took the powder to the black light it does not glow at all. Did I mess up along the way and need to start over? When cleaning the jars I used between filters I noticed they do glow quiet a bit.

The base powder should not glow unless dissolved into acidic water. Your product should be fine if you extracted correctly. I was also confused by this the first time around.

Yeah, the UV glow doesn't apply for freebase powder. If you're extracting mixed harmalas and doing manske's from rue, then the result is usually a tan colour - if separated, the harmine has a coarse dark-tan sandy texture, whereas the harmaline is fine, off-white powder.

Thanks guys. That really puts my mind at easy.

Harmala salts also don't glow until dissolved in H2O. Too high concentration will hinder the glow too.
